Beautiful bracelet and quick and easy to bead (with one needle - I can't manage 2 needles)! I made this with 8mm stones and 3mm fire polish because that's what I had on hand - just had to adjust number of 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads to accommodate the larger focal beads - and it turned out great. Thanks for sharing!

Looking glass... Absolutely. It is a right angle weave pattern and can be easily adapted to fit with many beads. However, just know that there may be a change in the number of seed beads you need on the X or the side. Have a wonderful day! - Allie

Yikes! I made this bracelet on the 006 Wildfire thread & within 3 weeks, the thread frayed & the bracelet fell apart😱. Is this a fluke?? What should I do? I adore this pattern & making them...
@Potomacbeadco4 жыл бұрын
Hi Laura, Wildfire is my go to thread because it's a strong, thermally bonded braid that doesn't fray or break. So I'm thinking that perhaps it was something sharp inside the hole of one of your beads. Sometimes a fragment of glass can get lodged in the hole and unless your needle hits it, you might not know it's there. Check your beads against a lit background to make sure all the holes are clear of debris and no chipped edges, before you remake it. It only takes one bead to rub against the thread and over time, do a lot of damage to your thread. Also, it's a good practice to pull your thread instead of your needle, because the eye in a beading needle is tiny and pulling the needle forces your thread against the end of that eye and can damage it a little bit more each time you pull your needle. Just use your needle to pass the thread through your beads and then pull the thread the rest of of the way.
@LauraOfVermont4 жыл бұрын
This makes sense! I did come across a couple beads with a jagged edge inside the Bread my needle caught on... I didn’t think anything about it at the time! Many Thanks🙌🏻🌷

Hello Ms Allie can you use 6mm rondelles for this project??
@Potomacbeadco Жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes, you can use Rondelles, although you would probably have to make some modifications when it comes to adding your 11/0 & 15/0 seed beads.
@sharonross60395 жыл бұрын
Could you use wire protectors on ends. Are the silver 11/0or 15/0. Interview beginning it says 11/0but when you start to add them you say 15/0. Love watching you and the rest at Potomac Beads.
@Potomacbeadco5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for picking up on that, Sharon! Thankfully, whatever is listed below the video is the correct list of supplies. Unfortunately, the video has both as 11/0s. The silver ones are actually 15/0s, which I showed in the video and poured some onto my bead mat as I was about to start working with them. The video can't be changed now, but the list below it is correct. 👍🏼😜 Yes, you can definitely use wire guards at the ends.
