I am so pleased that I found your video. A few years ago I bought a garnet bracelet which I thought was the most gorgeous thing I had seen. It was the same design as this, had 2 safety clasps but fell off my wrist the very first time I wore it, gone forever, never found it, no one handed it in (not surprising, brand new, garnet and gold, absolutely sparklingly beautiful..and it was Christmas week). Thrilled that I can now follow your video and remake my own to nearly exact pattern. over the moon and thank you so so very much xx

Really pretty. The 3rd length of RAW really adds substance to the design. With it, there's space for the light to shine through the crystals on the top. Without the 3rd length, the more common way of making a RAW bracelet, it sits against the skin too closely leaving very little space for light to enhance the crystals. Anxious to give this design a try. Hope I have enough of the correct size of crystals. TFS!

@@alliebuchman10 I am assuming the 11/0 seed beads you are using are about 2.1 or 2.2 mm in size. Am I misunderstanding your reply.? If I were to use 3-4 4mm beads per side, I have literally doubled the size of the bracelet. Could be fantastic twice the size.

Dear Ally, I love this design - especially that clasp!! I've been making various versions of my own design of this type of bracelet for some years now - I absolutely love wide RAW bracelets - up to 7 rows wide! But instead of changing thread I always start with more than twice the length of thread I think I'll need (because RAW is thread-thirsty), but I leave half of it as a tail at the very start - for both the RAW and for the embellishments - so that whenever I run out I can finish off with a few solid knots, then start working with the 'tail' thread, picking up back at the start of the piece. (Adding thread isn't difficult, but it takes a little longer, and blocks the beads with thread, often making it difficult to pull the needle thread) - especially as I always stitch my embellishment beads on twice which makes for a very solid bracelet and gives a substantial feel to the piece. I hope I've explained my method thoroughly enough! Happy Beading, and thank you for sharing all your wonderful designs!

When adding the second row, how do you determine at what point to add the "four beads" to continue on. Is it right AFTER going through the bottom two THEN we add the next four beads OR do we continue on through the two side beads then the two top beads and then add the next four coming around? Seems like you can do it either or both ways. I tried this pattern using Miyuki 11-643A and they seem to be more cylindrical then the ones you used. They did not lay well or hold a squared shape.

I also discovered this. There is a little hole where all the squares join. If you can see thread crossing through them, you're doing it wrong. I found that I hadn't gone around the square far enough when that happened.
