Looking healthy with invisible disabilities and disorders

My name is Xanthe Wyse & I have been sharing some of my journey with bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) & social anxiety disorder.
I was previously diagnosed with treatment resistant depression and a pain condition which doctors called fibromyalgia but later changed to celiac disease and bipolar disorder as most of the pain eased with a gluten-free diet.
I have also suffered from migraines most of my life and had three surgeries including a hysterectomy and a haemorrhoidectomy (the latter was extremely painful for several months).
Bipolar has been very disabling for me and at times, I can be unwell yet look 'well'. Some people get offended by the word 'disorder' but I have suffered with pain in my body and my mind yet looked completely 'fine' most of the time. There is a misconception that disability needs visible aids like a wheelchair or crutches.
The point of this video is that someone can look healthy but still have invisibilities and disorders. I had a pain disorder for several years which is mild now. It eased with several other symptoms with a gluten-free diet.
