Maaan, her taste is so waaay different than mine. I love that cherry L´Homme Ideal EDP and totally hate that super generic (underneath kind of sweaty) smelling Sport version. I rather use Sebastian as a refference. Allrady got the LIDGE EDT sample (based on your review) and it´s an amazing scent. Now waiting to get the EDP full bottle.

I blind bought the Cologne version today and it smells really nice!! My husband was very happy with the scent and we will see if it has average or below average longevity on him. Haven’t been able to track any of the others down in stores.

You know, someone is looking out for me because this is exactly what I needed Sebastian. lol I was on the fence about Ideal Cologne for literally a year until I finally purchased 2 bottles last week (it's that cheap right now). Blind bought the cologne based on Ashley’s review. I’m torn. Really liked the concept of grapefruit and buttery almond drydown. The opening was a bit harsh but the mid notes in my humble opinion are where this really shines. I was hoping for buttery and creamy almond drydown but I get a bit of incense that does not mix well with the almond note. Love the video though!

Cologne and EDP goes hand in hand for me. EDP is for winter and cologne is for the summer. You cannot really compare them. Both are a must in my collection. Amazing scents.

They are both different. The EDC I’m happy to wear daily as it’s lighter and fresher. The EDP I’d wear out at the weekend as it’s stronger and richer.i like them equally for different reasons.

So bizarre to me that people dislike that sport version 🤔 i think its awesome was love at first sniff 👍 as far as the magnetic caps I also love them but not for every bottle design for instance this bottle couldn't be more perfect everything about it that positive locking snap when you push the cap on 👌 perfect for this bottle.

I also don't get it. I must confess that the sport version is my favorite. Yeah, it's aquatic, but it has this subtle sweetness and warmth to it. Crisp, clean, cold but also warm and cozy like a fireplace. Also most of the people say it's a summer scent. For me it's one of my winter favorites and I only use it in fall or winter. When I smell the fragrance I imagine me leaving the house at a cold winter morning or evening, feeling the ice cold air on my face. I think that's the crisp, aquatic character of the fragrance. But then I remember I am being warm and cozy in my thick winter jacket, taking a deep breath to capture the fresh air before taking a walk out in the nature. I don't get the "meh" reactions either.

I did buy number four which’s Ideal EDP two weeks ago and tbh it’s so expensive. And unfortunately I’m regretting it because I thought this perfume would last for a long time, but it turned out that it can last for just an hour which is bad! Don’t get me wrong I like the smell of it! I just don’t think it’s a good idea to buy such a perfume.

Cologne is my nº1 too! They removed the ambery base of the original edt and replaced with some smooth musk, it's an almost perfect summer cologne to my nose. You two make a great couple! Wanna see more videos with Ashley :)

Intense has such a dominant pepper note with smokiness which almost makes me sneeze like smelling real pepper powder. Wonder why she doesn't get that note? And all of these have noticeable almond accord.

L'Homme Ideal Cologne smells damn good but the performance is weak so I always over spray, sure my bottle empties faster but it's inexpensive cologne, one of my go-tos for casual use. I've gotten multiple compliments with it and can attest that it's good juice for romantic encounters.

Although the edt doesn't meld into a perfect scent, the warm and fresh works for me as a cool season office companion. The various gourmand, floral and leather facets reference aspects of life as a domesticated man.

After watching this I think I'm goin to have to try the top 3 of those. I want a freshie/citrus that has more than just citrus, and all the ones I have don't. It's just citrus, maybe iris or something but the citrus overpowers and there's no surprise in the dry down which I want. Would anyone reading this who is familiar with these say that the cologne does have a pronounced tonka in the dry down?

When I first and recently got into the fragrance world I blind bought 5 difference products and they were heritage and Lhomme ideal cologne by guerlain, eau de rochas edt, Versace man Eau fraiche and F Pour Homme by Ferragamo. Going forward I will resist the temptation to Blind by based on reviews I see on KZbin it's such a individual response to colognes based on what it smells like on my skin, but I'm am glad that Ashley does like the lhomme ideal cologne by guerlain

I tried all of them at Saks in Toronto. I have the Ideal EDT and just ordered the EDP which I found different from the EDT at the store. I also liked the Intense but since it's more pricey I just went with the EDP for my 2nd bottle. Oddly although I have the EDT, I'm not a fan of it. I don't like the cherry. The EDT version always makes me think of Pure Havane which I also don't care for from the Mugler line.
