Should have watched before I bought. When I saw it had cherry amaretto and almond notes I expected it to be a sweeter. You’re right about it smelling more mature. I’d imagine an older person wearing this. Doesn’t smell bad just not for me. Any recommendations for a sweet cologne with the cherry almond note?

I like it as well. The amaretto is a nice touch. Unfortunately for me, I don't get the same performance as you. On me, it's nice for an hour or so, but after that wears pretty close to the skin. I will say that I prefer the Habit Rouge Parfum more. It takes the mature / sophisticated vibe up a notch, and the performance is significantly better on me than the L'Homme. Not as mass appealing, but definitely works better for me.

Video series idea: 10 fragrances that you only need one of. That is, a list of frags that share similar notes/feeling or could stand-in for one another, if aren’t straight clones. Do you need Sauvage, Dylan blue, AND PLR Carbon? Or will just one be ok? What about Givenchy Gentleman Boisee, Green Irish Tweed and Acqua di gio? What about Versace Pour Homme, Nautica Voyage and D&G light blue? Etc. Tobacco frags, powdery, citrusy, woody… maybe not the exact same fragrances or clones, but those that fill the same slot. Maybe you can create new color categories beyond blue and Green. Red, brown, gray, black, yellow… Then on the other side, frags that have no match, or that created a category (excluding clones). BDC, spice Bomb Extreme, aqua velva, ADG, Aventus, Aramis

I tested it today. My skin did not react well to this amaretto opening, but after 15 minutes, the usual L'Homme Ideal swetness arose, and it became wonderful. Longevity is better than edp for sure

I really like the Parfum but I have black edged EDT bottle which lasts so much longer on me. It is a 8 year old batch and lasts so much longer on my skin than the new Parfum. I own both.
