And not all Oud animalic there’s 3 kinds of Oud I know 1-animalic(حار) E.g Indian 2-smoky(بخوري) E.g Moroki 3-sweet(حالي) E.g Barashean I really want you to try layer some fragrance with “pure” Oud oil and I’m sure you gonna love it (its a new world) My favourite is Creed Royal Oud with Smoky Oud oil Terre d'Hermès with smoky Oud oil Bleu de Chanel with sweet Oud oil I don’t need to tell you to be creative because you are!!!

I have no trouble with the performance of Oud Ispahan...it lasts for over 24 hours on skin and well over a week on clothing for me. This is a hard category rank. As always, love Dalya.

MFK Oud Silk Mood is the best rose-oud I've smelled so far. Malik al Taif by Areej le Dore is another good one. However, the only two I own so far are PDM Akaster and Montale Black Aoud and I enjoy them. Thanks for sharing so many different ones in this video!

Great video. My favourite animalic rose-oud fragrance is Oudh Infini by Dusita. However, it's limited in versatility. My two "Holy Grail" rose oud fragrances are Rose D'Arabie (Armani Prive) and Oud Fleur (Tom Ford). You have some interesting selections I'm curious in trying out now. Cheers!

First rose + oud fragrance I have ever smelled was also Kilian - Rose oud. I loved it! But then I smelled Jo Malone - Velvet rose & oud... I was blown away by this warm, mysterious and sensual scent 🥰 and this one is not too expensive! Fragrances from Montale and Mancera give me a headache. Wearing Frederic Malle - Portrait of a lady right now.. I just love roses🌹 I’m curious about this Noir de noir by Tom Ford. I have to stop by in Amsterdam or Rotterdam soon to smell it! My girfriend is HUGE fan of Akaster . I do think current formulation of Oud Ispahan is pretty strong too , but vintage is just ... a level above beast mode.My 2013 bottle is extremely strong.I get over 24 hours of performace on my skin.On clothes over a month . Sillage and projection over 12 hours....strong. SOTD is Interlude Man by Amouage

I love strong rose scents! I'm not sure if I've smelt Oud, however. If you like strong roses(feminine), I'd recommend Imogen Rose- even though it's expensive!

Great list and gives me 20 more to try. I am relatively new into the Rose/Oud combo. I've a small sprayer of DIptyque-Oud Palao and a 100ml bottle of Armani Prive-Rose d'Arabie (after sampling, it jumped into my top 3 scents). I've been looking at various reviews trying to get a good list to sample some more. Really need to start trying some of fizzy ones that might be wearable during the summer here in SoCal.

*Mancera , higher impact fragrance* , that's an understatement that we can all agree upon. Speaking of high impact houses, (Montale's) Black Oud & Ex Idolo's Ryder are very similar. By Kilian's Rose Oud is way to much potent rose in the opening . I like *Charlatan* by _Fort&Manely_ & *Ensar Rose* by _Sultan Pasha_ along with *Ottoman Empire* _Areej le dore_ Excellent list

I am very unhappy that By Kilian Rose Oud has been discontinued and I have been searching for a replacement. It is difficult as some brands are not readily available in Canada. Thank you for this video. I was hoping that you might do a review of Eric Buterbaugh's Rose Oud and Cartier Oud & Rose.

The Kilian Rose Oud is the top of my list, yummy and dark! I'm new to this whole scene and this is my favorite channel so far. I'm a guy who's been exploring oud/tobacco notes. Other notes I like are tonka bean, amber, patchouli and anything smokey. Got some samples from SplitScent and Twisted Lilly and I've ranked as follows (just my own opinion): 1) TF Tobacco Oud (bottle), 1a) Dyptique's Oud Palao (will buy soon), 3) Creed's Royal Oud, 4) Marley's Herod (too gourmand for me but good), 5) Byredo's Oud Immortal, 6) Perris' Oud Imperial, 7) Byredo's Oud Accord, 8) TF Noir Extreme, 9) Nicolai's Amber Oud, 10) Nicolai's Incense Oud. On aside note, my go-to sub-$100 fragrance is Bulgari's "Man in Black". As you'd expect, doesn't last more than 5-6 hours. Tobacco Oud is polarizing , but heck, I like it. Dyptique's version is pure Middle Eastern (although Sebastian could comment on that better than me), whereas most oud fragances seem "anglicized." Creed's falls apart if you sweat too much. Love the channel!

Great job guys. I love Halfeti. I think that’s why I love creed Bois du Portugal.. Halfeti honestly reminds me so much of my dad… I don’t know why it just has a vibe about it. I wonder how I smell when I wear this. It’s one of those fragrances were you wonder how you smell.. I have watched reviews and they say it is a projection beast. I love the way it smells. I love Oud, I love it in combination with other woodsy notes, with leather, with incense, with vetiver, with amber and even with citrus but I can't stand it in combination with fruity notes and in combination with rose. Dawn by Frederic Malle to my nose is much better than The Night
