Goooshhh, I bought Portrait of a Lady yesterday!!! I was to Holt Renfrew in Toronto and they have Frederic Malle!!!! Wow, this parfumé is perfection in a bottle!!! Wow, I felt in love with it quickly. I have a tip for the people who wants to buy it. Test it on skin not on paper because it’s a huge difference. First I tested on paper and after two hour walking in the mall I decided to go back and try it on skin for on another two hours. Wow, on skin is incredibly, it’s so clean, soapy , rosy and all the notes are blended so good, not even one is too proéminente. Now I can understand why people are attracted to this trail. I think this is the mother of all parfumés in the world! Now I’m going to stop buying parfumés for two year, I started my collection in November last year and I have 50 already which is ridiculous enough for me , but I’m still going to watch the parfum reviews on u tube, very cool videos 🤗

I have at least 26 fragrances from Tom Ford, most of which were all way before F..king Fabulous and Rose Prick and the Peach one and anything thereafter. I do have his Mandarino de Amalfi, Oud Fleur, Tobacco Oud, and his entire Vert series. The last fragrance I bought from his line was Soleil Blanc and Eau de Soleil Blanc. I still enjoy Cafe Rose, and the others from that line, Jasmine Rouge, Shanghai Lilly, Plum Japonaise, Fleur de Chine and myriads of others. Thus, I believe that 26 Tom Ford perfumes are enough for me and I will probably not live long enough to deplete 16 of them let alone all 26. I still think that his really older fragrances, Bois Rouge and Japon Noir were the best of all.

I love TomFord perfume and love Rose sent and when combine with leather it’s even better… my husband favourite is Noir de Noir and my favourite is Rose Prick… I just blindly ordered the Rose Travel Set… we’ll see which one is my favourite from the 3

Do I have bragging rights?!?! Lol...I felt in my heart Rose Di Amalfi was going to be your favorite of this collection when you reviewed these back in December! And you had placed it last! You can go back and read my comments - But anyway, I am so excited you reviewed these and out of all of these - I am certainly buying Rose Di Amalfi for myself! Rose is hands down one of my favorite notes in perfumery and hearing you say that these are unique rose fragrances...makes me so excited to smell these!

I wanted Amalfi but it has not been released yet here in Canada. It’s one that I will love 100 % so I bought chine instead for now and I do enjoy it , however it’s different for sure. Not a love but a like. Then a day later I bought Russi which is not my favourite at all but I do enjoy it in small doses , it reminds me of rose de cuir FM a lot. If I end up not using it I will pass it on to my husband ! It leans masculine and has a strong leather note but it is fresh to my nose and pleasant. Amalfi will be the winner for me 🥰 big fan of rose fragrances in general my favourite genre . The see through bottles are great. I prefer seeing the fragrance and how much I have used. 👍🏼

I wasn’t sold on these when I first heard about them, but I picked up the travel set immediately upon sampling them. I think I like Rose de Russie the best, then Rose di Amalfi, then Rose de Chine. Rose di Amalfi surprised me the most. I’ll definitely pick up all 3 in larger bottles as they become available. There’s also Cafe Rose!

I smelled this trio pre-launch at Nordstrom and I was excited to buy when they released. I purchased the trio from Nordstrom and the full sized bottle of Rose D’Almalfi from the TF site. Rose D’Almalfi is very beautiful and candy like. It’s labeled as a floral but it’s really a sweet gourmand. Some on Fragrantica have compared this to Rose Prick and this is nothing like Rose Prick. I’m a TF fan and no I don’t think all of his releases are full bottle worthy but if you like sweet powdery fragrances, this is one to buy. It has a very sexy powder dry down with decent silage however, I find that it’s not long lasting. I would say Rose D’Almalfi comes in at #1, Rose De Chine #2. I really do not like Rose De Russie, there is entirely too much smoke and reminds me a bit of Ebene Fume.

Nordstrom had this set out for sampling a few weeks ago - I was mostly excited for Russie and Chine, but ended up liking D'Amalfi the best. It reminded me a bit of Rose Prick. The travel sprays are great, it's interesting they went with the black/white travel spray case for this set (it was the same one they used with the "Fabulous" travel spray) instead of the Pink one used with rose prick (or even the red from the Lost Cherry spray) which would have fit the rose theme better

I must say that I'm not a fan of rose fragrances in general, but Rose de chine sounds interesting so probably I'll go sample it when it will come out. I've tested recently the new rose fragrance from Diptyque Eau rose which I found quite pleasant and interesting with the chamomile note. I know they had the eau de toilette version, but as i said it is hard for me to find a rose fragrance that I like, but the new one made me think of buying a bottle. Thank you for the video!

Rose De Russie - A blast of pepper from the start with rose supporting it. As the pepper calms it turns into a leather-rose. I liked this the least out of the trio at first, but it has really grown on me and I will most likely purchase. 1. Russie 2. Chine (close second) 3. Amalfi - plastic candy rose that turns into powder - smells like Guerlain Rose Cherie.

When I smelled rose de Russie , the leather sort of reminded me of Chanel cuir de russie but so much smoother to my nose with the rose taking a lead. I purchased it and love it but also want rose de amalfi as loved that one just as much….so happy he kept the price point to his usual rather than the higher prices as seen with bitter peach and the likes.

I think Tom Ford did it again with these! I got such a nice different rose from each one. Amalfi is powdery and sweet, Chine (my favorite) floral and spicy while Russie is a darker, more gothic and leathery rose.

Side Note: I don't understand how the stores can't get pricing right when they first release them. Sephora was at $368 and Macy's was $454. They're fixed now, $270, buy that's ridiculous.

I wasnt excited about these at all even though I'm a huge rose lover. I'm still not going wild over it but after watching this Rose D'Amalfi sounds like something I would like to sample, although for the heliotrope rather than the rose. I just had a look at the one department store in my city that sells them only had 50ml of Russie and d'Amalfi, Chin isn't on their website. I wonder if you have a lot of rose fragrances in your collection, or even own Rose Prick, are they worth the price? Theres something about the whole collection that feels a bit thrown together to me. Aesthetically Russie is a very pretty, femme bottle which in my opinion doesnt reflect the leathery notes listed. I can imagine a lot of customers buying it for the pink bottle even though it doesn't have a "pink" scent.

Rose Prick is one of my favorite fragrances from Tom Ford so I am excited to experience this collection. Rose Prick was a blind buy for me but I will only be adding possibly one of these new fragrances to my collection so I will try to test them in store before deciding which one I like best. Diptyque’s Eau Rose EDP was originally a limited Edition as they already had the EDT. However, now both of them will be in the permanent collection. At least that’s what I heard.

To my nose i feel like if montale intense cafe and PDM delina would have a son, it would smell like rose d’amalfi. Rose de russie feels like TF F fabulous with added rose. I had high hopes from rose de chine, i was expecting a dominant amber fragrance with a rose twist, but apparently its a very fresh rose perfume contrasted with peony with a light hint of amber in the background
