Super simple build!
1 10k pot and 1 100nf ceramic capacitor and 2 jack sockets
mess around with values! and types of capacitors. the larger the capacitance and larger resistance, more frequencies filtered!
even try electrolytic capacitors! all the way up to 470uf! give it a go.

HAINBACH would running tapes though diy filters work?? I saw AMULETS run walkmans through Clouds and was wondering if that would still work with diy or does it have to be eurorack?? I want to start working with modular, tapes, and minidisc. I have a Tascam 414 on the way (after seeing it used the way Alessandro Cortini, AMULETS, and yourself use it) and a pair of minidiscs (after seeing your tricks on minidisc recording I looked up and found a pair of SHARP 702’s...the exact and only minidisc player I had in the 90’s...for an absolute steal!!). Also, side question: do diy modules work with vcv??

that's one of my favourite videos on youtube. I'm laughing my ass off at the lemon squeezy sound in the beginning, the I-got-lemon-in-my-eye part and mr. ozzy the oscilator. I actually built the guitar tone pot filter with shitty parts from a broken guitar and a cheap soldering iron after watching this. it sounds horrible, but it works. I might choose building stuff as a career cause most career options society offers suck anyways. thanks man, you give me inspiraion and motivation.

Yeah using the IC chips is much better sound I found. At least this works somewhat. The reverse transistor oscillator is not a good idea at all when IC chips will make a better sound, are easier to wire and will actually work when you wire them correctly rather than maybe working. I would recommend finding the IC chip for the filter and using that instead.
