Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point is Disney Cruise Line's new private destination in the Bahamas. Join us as we are among the first guests to experience this incredible destination. We were aboard the 'Preview Cruise' visiting Lookout Cay on June 7, 2024. In this video, we enjoy breakfast at Cabanas and embark on an exploration of Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. We check out Rush! A Junkanoo Celebration, we also have some fun at Disney Fun in the Sun Beach Bash, explore the island, have lunch at True-True Too BBQ, meet some of our favorite characters, and unwind on the stunning beaches. Back on the ship, we savor dinner at Animator's Palate and revel in Pirate Night festivities.

Hahaha I feel like I should both apologize and also say you're welcome... Haha Because paying for the cruise is never fun, but the cruise itself is always a blast. Can't wait to hear more about your upcoming adventure!

Thanks! Based it off of the sketches Disney Parks Blog released a couple months ago, and rather pleased with how it turned out.

I had made them little "Lookout Cay" luggage tags with photos of them in their new Lookout Cay outfits. :)

it'd be funny if you started to see bags and clothing along the way as people try to lighten their burden over the arduous journey...and finally you start seeing skeletons of previous passengers who just couldn't make it to the island.. (well i guess they wouldn't be skeletons if you're the first batch) 🙂

wow the cast members have to haul everything themselves along that long path? they don't even have mules and camels? 🙂i thought maybe for official business they might be able to use some kind of utility boats or maybe a subway that attaches to the ship from below to maintain the illusion of magic where they appear on the island before any guests do 😀but...that's probably a risky setup...

Since there is not enough seating I was wondering if they will allow beach blankets. That would be my strategy. I am nervous about long walk in heat with no shade or places to stop and sit …not going till next year so hope they upgrade.

When we were there the lounge chairs were further back from the water, but there was still plenty of chairs available... Just a little ways from the water. My understanding is since my visit they have continued to add more chairs along the beach. The walk was toasty in the June sun, but if you are able to leave the ship shortly after you arrive you will miss the worst of the heat. Hope you have a great time when you visit. Thanks for watching!
