Brilliant idea on how to change up a hat to add texture, Amanda! I don't have that exact loom you are using but I do have the 72 peg KB Premium Round, would that be the same gauge? I guess with this technique you're using, it really doesn't matter what gauge the loom is as long as the yarn matches it, correct? Anyway, I love this beautiful hat. I like this! My little cousins birthday is coming up next month so I thought I'd make a hat for him to wear next winter. He's 7 and average size for his age. What length would you make for the hat? I'm not sure what an average size is for that age.
