Just finished this project and it's fabulous! Made it a little shorter for my mother to wear indoors like a shawl whilst reading and lined the pockets with fleece! (more sewing but it turned out great) She LOVES it to keep all her tissues and bookmarks (and candy!) with her and her shoulders warm! Thanks Denise for the video and pattern!

Two questions for you... Question 1: So when turning back from Row 47 to Row 48, row 48 will be a Ewrap knit stitch correct? So it will be alternating sides each time you start the set (k2,p1)? I hope I am I asking the question properly. Question 2: I am making this for my 5'2" daughter...may I ask how tall you are so I can determine the proper length for her please? Your videos are the best and it was your channel that taught me how to loom knit 2 years ago!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I do not know if you know this already but today I discovered a new way to knit a hat with a long loom, I used 40 pegs at 1:48 piggars long loom, essential 30 lines of E wrap , I started to decrease one stitch at each corner , so two on each side at the end. Then I got a flat rounded hat. I sewed in the last stitches in the middle.
@mattzila892 жыл бұрын
Hello Ms Denise! Could this be knit on a KB 48 peg 5/8 chunky round loom? It’s my favorite round loom to knit on. And could I use one strand of worsted weight ? I love the ease of this pattern - thank you in advance for your reply 😊
@LoomaHat2 жыл бұрын
Hi - yep the 48 peg loom will work well but the one strand of worsted will give you a lacy fabric. If you’re ok with a lacy version of the project it will work but for the fabric to look like mine and keep you warm- you need the chunky yarn. Hope that helps 😘

Hi I have a little counter that I am in row 47 and then you say that we're to do row 45 to 47 another 114 times and it would give us total of 389. How do we get to that calculation? Because I have a counter and right now I'm on row 47. I don't get how can we get 389
@debbieprice17632 жыл бұрын
You would be ending on row 389, that is all the stitches in total since row 1. So you are repeating 3 rows (2 ewrap, 1 purl) 114 x 3 = 342 plus your 47 previous rows = 389. 😊

Medical bills and flights and all that stuff! My nerves are shot! Who knows, I may end up sleeping a lot due to these daily intense migraines! Trying to stay positive and this is something that I can do in bed! I really love this pattern! Purple is my color but I have this pretty yarn that will work perfect as the pockets.
