You have the best videos. I am a new knitter and you show such detail. I already made several of your items. I also bought a couple of your patterns from Etsy. Thank you for these videos. You are the BEST!

You must have spent a ton of time making this video and demonstrating multiple rows, so thank you. You've taken the mystery out of this popcorn look. Beautiful stitch pattern.

Thank you I find your tutorials easy to follow for a beginner loomer!!!!! My daughter is really wanting the Harry Styles JW Anderson cardigan but I can't seem to convert the free knitting pattern to loom as I can't knit with needles. Is there any possible way you could do a tutorial on this? If so thank you in advance !!!!!

I've recently started to knit (Done with Baking, too many carbs). I've knitted two hats for my wife. Your channel has been a blessing, it's helped my sanity by giving me a distraction during the pandemic. I wanted to thank you and also ask if you or anyone could give me advise on how to make a tighter knit. Do I need a loom with more - closer pegs? or is this a problem with my technique? Thank you in advance.

I have a question about the pop stitch. Are you consistently changing the amount of times you knit over? Sorry if it seems like odd question. I am trying to count the times, and I am not sure if I am thinking 8 and seeing differently. ( I have been working a lot of hours, maybe my brain is whacked. Lol. Thank you.

I am going to be starting a baby blanket here in the next couple of days in the diamond stitch where it's all ewrap knits except the diamond are the purls... With a garter stitch border... Would doing the popcorn stitch look good in place of the purls???

I get SO CONFUSED with the different types and weight/gauges of yarn! Is there any way you would be willing to do an educational video on the different types? I ordered a “worsted weight” yarn off amazon and it’s super thin, but your worsted weight looks tons thicker. I thought worsted weight was the same size? See what I mean? I could listen to your voice all day. I love how you say “loop”! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!

@@LoomaHat thank you so much!! So I guess other than measuring the actual yarn before you buy it, there’s no “rule” yarn makers have to follow to make sure we get the “right size” yarn? Thank you again! I am currently using your diagonal chevron stitch to make placemats for my “new” table that I just refinished. I can’t wait to show off the table, and your awesome stitches for my placemats!

I'm so confused. You starting this pattern "in the middle" of the work just confuses how to do it. I don't usually criticize tutorial videos because I DO appreciate the time and effort that goes into making a tutorial video. But this time I just have to say, it would have made so much more sense if you had just started at the beginning with a cast on (or right after the cast on row). Starting the tutorial in the middle of an already started pattern just... doesn't help. I'm sorry.
@LoomaHat3 жыл бұрын
Amy first, thank you for the feedback- I understand that the concept of a stitch pattern verses a project pattern may be a bit confusing unless you’ve used a stitch pattern to create your own project but again this is a stitch pattern and not a project pattern. My cast-on my not work at all for the project you choose to use the with this stitch. It is the project and not the stitch that should determine your cast and and cast off.

Here is a video on how I start my stitch patterns "in general" kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4jNhGptr7uXl9k

Amy, this used to confuse me also, but as I’ve progress in my loom knitting experience, I now understand how to use stitch pattern videos. It might help to imagine that this video starts right after you complete your cast on. After your cast on, do the foundation row at the very beginning of the video - this will be done only once - then start with row 1 in the pattern, and continue on. She has each row clearly labeled. You can also do a few garter stitch rows before your foundation row, and at the ends of each row, and at the very end of the project. This will give a border around the pattern that doesn’t curl. I hope this helps. It seems confusing but becomes understandable as you go.

@@MichelleHotchkissArt Thank you. Between her explanation to me here, and now yours, I think I understand what needs to be done. I'm **very** new to loom knitting so... tbh, I'm not even sure what a "garter stitch" is, but I'll figure it out. Thanks again!
