Rick, 50 plus years ago, if you went to a G rated or PG rated movie, what you got was: 1) A Merrie Melodies cartoon 2) One or two movie previews 3) One more Merrie Melodies cartoon 4) Two more movie previews 5) Your main feature. And here's the mind blowing part, in your fancy theaters, just before the main attraction, the curtains would open (they had been partially open, the movie would be seen on a wider screen than the cartoons and previews. It was an experience.).

I love Looney Tunes!! This was a great one - Daffy was always great. My favorite episode was Duck Amok. My favorite Bugs episode is the one called Wet Hare, with Blacque Jacque Shellaque. He keeps building dams and Bugs keeps blowing them up bc he wants a shower. Love it!

How many people I know who answer your every sentence with a classic line from these cartoons 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Complete and whole dialogs - my stomach hurts thinking about it! You cannot leave out the full orchestra behind the animation! Flutes, piccolos - without the music YIKES! Chuck Jones and crew were located all the way the back of the lot, by the water tower - hence, we always see the infamous WB Water Tower. One day the head of the studio asked what's going on back there and no one could give him a sufficient answer. So he took a walk back there. He immediately shut them down. They had free reign and when interviewed, Chuck Jones said that Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were the personalities of two real people - but the head of the studio shut them down!!! BUT, we have Animaniacs!!!! It took me years to get over no more Saturday morning cartoons 😭 RIP My Dear Friends 🤲🏼🤲🏽🤲

Oops I hit a wrong button in my reply was only partially done anyway I put in a Foghorn Leghorn VHS tape into my TV and as I'm watching it I realize how violent it is compared to some of the cartoons they are making today he kept asking me why is he hitting him why is he hitting him? Then I went across the street to my sister's house and she has a TV signal we watched some TV cartoons that are recently made and I thought they were horrible but he watched them. I say horrible because they were so obviously boring and trying to tell a moral instead of pure entertainment it was really bad compared to Warner Brothers From My Generation
