@@Pedro_5859 pedro, ambas versiones van a 30 fps, solo con la diferencia de q pueden alcanzar los 60 fps durante los comentarios del gallo claudio. P.D: DC gana aca porq el juego se desarrolló originalmente para esta consola, en PS2 se hizo un port con peores texturas y baja resolución, tambien tiempos de carga inexplicablemente mas extensos. PS2 era dificil de programar desde su lanzamiento, solo juegos como gran turismo 4 , BLACK, Shadow of the Colossus, GoW 2 y MGS 3 demostraron el verdadero poder de la consola y sus Vector units funcionando en sincronia.

I find it interesting how most of the multiplatforms like Dead or Alive 2, RE: Code Veronica and others the Dreamcast comes out victorious in comparison to the PS2 (more because it has a higher resolution and a better VRAM which makes the textures have more quality in it) It makes me think that it could do very well in the sixth generation console race, maybe not finish first, but I doubt it would finish last in sales, too bad Sega pulled out too soon.

It would definitely be last, nobody trust Sega at that point. Maybe it would sell a little better if it came out in 2000, but not much.

I played this on Dreamcast two decades ago, is it nostalgia that I think the DC version looks and sounds better? The music is better, the voices are more clear, the menu looks more stylised and appealing.

Not a downgrade, it's just because of the internal hardware of the PS2 that the image quality is less than the Dreamcast. PS2 is more blurry and less internal resolution in comparison

@@Pedro_5859 not true, I have a few crt tv and monitors, all with different connections (vga, ypbpr/"component", rgb scart, s-video and composite) and have played with my ps2 and dreamcast on all of them. Can still tell the difference, even on composite. I think it depends on your eyes and the quality of the crt you are using

Not only that, but music is completedly different (and a lot worse) than Dreamcast. PS2 is blurry mess and no 60hz option on PAL either, unlike DC.
