I'm trembling with anger and can't stop crying. Why do you always portray the Axis powers as the bad guys? At least Japan saved the natives from colonial rule by the West and the Allies, and gave them high-level skills and education. Japan was the true hero, fighting for the honor of those who came before and for the surviving colonists as a blade that cuts through evil. Japan was the first to advocate the elimination of racial discrimination, so I would like to thank them. From now on, consideration should be given to diversity, and the Axis powers should be portrayed as justice, and if that is not possible, at least they should be portrayed as neutral. I wonder if some companies allow this.

@@soundpowerd2196 The US at this time was (and today still is) made up of millions of ethnic Germans and Italians (which along with English all made up the majority of the American population). Back then a lot of these Germans and Italians, although American, still spoke their native tongue (as well as English) and largely identified as well... Germans and Italians. So by apologizing to the "nice ducks and geese" in the audience, there were in effect saying "we understand not all of you are bad". The irony of Americas involvement in WW2 is that many (if not most) of those Americans who fought against Germany and Italy were Germans and Italians themselves.

Actually Hitler learned from Mussolini.
@madscott93143 жыл бұрын
True that. Mussolini became dictator of Italy in '22, 11 years before Hitler and the nazi party came to power in Germany. Facist Italy invaded Ethiopia in '35, 4 years before Hitler invaded Poland and started WWII. Not to mention Japan started attacks in China in '31, so one might say WWII started in '37 for Japan.
@Who_Am_I_d.i.y.ryanpanana13493 жыл бұрын
He learned from a lot of people. He just had his own plans after they lost ww1. He blamed the jews. He started the war early knowing Mussolini was finished a war with Ethiopia. He went behind his back and invaded Poland. He was not prepared for ww2 after just signing a pack with Hitler weeks before. So he needed the Germans. Makes him seem like the weaker duck cause he was.

The things that the Mussolini duck said in Italian were non sense; i don't know if that was made on pourpose to make it sound stupid, or they just had a terrible translator. Considering 99.995% of the audience probably didn't know italian and so they wouldn't take the joke, they probably just had a bad translator; if they had a translator at all. They're just "iconic" italian words assembled randomly. (By the way i'm italian, so that's how I understand what he's saying. Also forgive me for how i spelled "pourpose" and many other words, I know it's wrong) If you are wondering; here's the Mussolini duck's words translated in english plus some notes i've putted (the audio is not that good so i missed some stuff. The speech is at 3:00 by the way): 3:00; *Note: really hard to deduct. It kind of sound like:* "You would wont cash". I know it's wrong but it's fun to think it was made on pourpose. 3:03; *he's lliterrally counting.* "Seven, eight, nine, teeeeeeen" 3:06; *he's saying "tutti frutti", the name of the Elvis Presley's song; which means litterally "All fruits" by the way.* "All fruits. All fruits and all kinds of whipped creams and i want a ?nutz? " (i am not sure on the "nutz" thing) 3:18 *The bird is saying "Viva il Duce". "Duce" was the name Mussolini wanted people tu use when refering to him. Just like Hitler was called "Fürer". by the germans.* "Whii! Whiii! Hooray for the Duce! Hooray for the Duce! This is an amazing piece of history. Truly blessed we get to see it in such high quality. The depictions of Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo are hilarious, the explanation that a peace treaty was no longer an option was fantastic, and the ending with their 3 heads on the wall was surprisingly inspiring and had me wanting to buy some postage stamps. Utter brilliance.

Yeah but this cartoon is a clear example of US military propaganda and political praising, pretending USA had the main role on the war as peace dispenser (it was important, but not more than GB that isn't named neither). The history of WWII is more articolate than this, for example: the dictatorship of Mussolini appeared years before the Hitler's one, so this one didn't inspire the other but viceversa
