missed a crucial step. How do you see the dsp Mixer in Cubase? The viewer has to research that because the demo just jumps in assuming the viewer has already set up their project and knows how to set up dsp in cubase

It's a shame you can't isolate computer audio only in loopback as OBS would pick the mic input up anyway. This would allow you to stream/record DAW and mic on separate audio channels in OBS.

This is my 17th time watching this, so summing it up for my future reference lol no loopback = just what's plugged in to the interface in its raw form Live cast = interface ins + all computer out audio voice chat = interface ins and that's it?? so basically the same as off? I get why i was confused lol

And it's still useless. All they had to do was expose more wdm playback channels to the system so you can send the output of zoom/skype/whatever to another channel that doesn't get looped back. This new voice chat mode simply cuts all computer audio from the loopback. Facepalm.

@@KrissLiss Yep, pretty much every other interface made the last 3 years has it. Suggest looking at Focusrite Scarlett series or Audient.

Hi Dom. I got a problem with my UR44C. On my iPhone, I was able to select Live Cast mode in dspMixFx UR-C. However, when I selected Voice Chat, it fell back to Live Cast mode (in other word, I was NOT able to select Voice Chat mode at all). The same problem happened with dspMixFX UR-C on my iMac. Do you know why? Thanks. UPDATE: After upgrading firmware from V1.01 to V1.5, the problem has gone. Cheers.

I'm trying to live stream guitar to Helix Native in Nuendo 11 with a UR22C to Streamlabs OBS, and I am getting crazy feedback as soon as I click on the monitor icon on the track. Nuendo 11 vst drum tracks and vst keyboards stream with no problem, but the guitar audio channel is getting all audio routed to the track. I've setup a mono channel for the guitar, but all the audio routes back to it. I can here the drums, keyboards, and voice in the Helix Native track. Do you have a video example of live streaming Helix Native through OBS? I found the video where you are recording with Helix Native, but live streaming in OBS seems to cause a feedback loop with live cast. Please help.

Live Cast isn't working for me in the way you've shown. When I load up dspMixFx UR-C with Nuendo the faders are replaced with "DAW Controlled", and OBS isn't picking up any audio from my microphone (it only picks up the audio from Nuendo directly). Could you let me know what I can do to resolve this please? TIA!

I would like to know how to turn the loopback completely off. Right now I'm plugging my guitar into input 1 and I'm trying to record, but hearing both the processed and loopback signals together is driving me crazy. Please help!

Yes, it seems they have implemented it simply as workaround to get reverb out of the box, because Voice chat mode literally doesn't give anything else

loopback disables inputs 1+2 across all the UR range. there is no workaround for this.

The most ridiculous thing about this interface is that even though you physically own the interface, you still have to waste time and jump through hoops with all the "e-licenser" garbage. I have lost my box and manual so now i have no license and im treated like some type of pirate.
