I always recommend love, death, robots I knows it's not hidden gem but I'm surprised by how many ppl I know that skip it. From this list, His house and The Ritual really added to the genre and we're actually scary, so I recommend them. Another that should be on this list for horror lovers is the french horror show ' Marianne'.

Someone managed to make a totally new value movie, and I never lost interest in this film. I didn't expect a horror movie on a plane could be interesting. I was less concerned about the vampire POV. It felt like a woman directed it and I don't know what makes me feel this way. I purposely don't want to know. And I'm on board for ANYTHING Guillermo del Toro, and I have loved Crimson Peak all 4 times I've watched it.

I'm very sad that I'm not Ok with This didn't get so much needed 2nd season ... not sure if it was about to be the end of the story but at least to prove that it could get the same attention as Strangers Things, as it has similar vibe in it. Great show, unfortunately canceled by Netflix ... :(

I don't know why but when I was watching the part talking about The Ritual, I immediately got these vibes about the real incident that happened at the Dyatlov Pass, where a bunch of Soviet hikers all died under very strange circumstances. Not sure if parts of the movie are taken from that or not, but it looks interesting either way.

Always love my looper movie list. MK Ultra was a movie I knew nothing about, and only intended to watch a few minutes. It is one of my favorite movies, and I have very few movies of call a favorite in the last decade. If you like horror, which I live for, you MUST watch It Follows. Go in blind, you won't regret it. If you haven't seen Crimson Peak, why,? You do know it's a Guillermo del Toro, right? It's so perfect.
