This acoustic version of Telephone Line send shivers down my spine every time I hear it. I know that's a cliché, but no other song has ever done that to me before, not even any ELO songs - this version is something else. I've been to Bungalow Palace in LA, well, outside it anyway and was very fortunate to have met Jeff in person in our hometown of Birmingham last year. Such a nice guy, completely humble, despite his amazing talent.

Telephone Line - Brilliant, just Brilliant. One of the things I love about the acoustic performance of telephone line is that although these two guys have been together for decades and know each other so well, the brilliant Richard Tandy smiles as he plays during the song as though in awe of what he is actually a part of. It's almost as if he is feeling "Am I really a part of this?!" I can sort of play telephone line on the piano in the style of Richard, but I have given up trying to sing like Jeff.
