So the new LoopCloud "free" will now only let me see the "old folders" I added a while ago with my samples, but will not let me add a new folder of samples? It basically just crippled how I can use LoopCloud. It does not feel right. Sneaky.

You guys pulled a real nasty trick on us by not allowing us to add our own sounds anymore unless you have a subscription! I stopped recommending your engine. You shouldn't force people like this...

My Loopcloud 6 crash also 5 when adding samples and start indexing. Cant use loopcloud bcuz of that using ADSR sample manager

Adding samples is not possible in the free version (without subscription). Is it?

Thanks for the info! I have moved all my own personal audio samples to a new, external harddrive, but I can't figure out how to re-link to the new Audio Samples folder in LoopCloud. It seems that I need to import all the folders again and then delete the old folders?

It stopped working for me when you try to add samples but if you put your new folders inside existing folders, Loopcloud updates and then they are all there. Seems like they want to stop the free version but this is a work around for now. I will reinstall version 5 if they go this path. If you want to add a folder that is on a different drive, you can use symbolic links. Working for me. I just added a new sample pack.

Go back to version 5 and rebuild your library. It will let you add samples again. It seems that the new functionality is hard coded into the app itself from version 6 and above.

@@Cers10 Yes I have it. Version 5.1.11 mac but version 6 is better. You can still add your own samples but you can't add new top route folders. I just use symbolic link.

Hi, I'm a newbie to music production and have begun to work with Loopcloud and just watched this video. Quick question - I find that I can review wav files that I've uploaded but how do I review and listen to midi samples? Your thoughts?
