Hello, thanks for your time and video. In a nutshell, has loopy pro got on board features, including an effects processor et cetera? I’ve actually got Loopy HD and again, is loopy pro in a nutshell, the same as loopy HD with added features is that all the differences? I’m sure it sounds good, I’m wondering, if projects created on either loopy HD or loopy pro, if projects could be imported into recording packages, including Logic pro et cetera?
@inbar.heyman9 ай бұрын
Hi, Loopy Pro comes with only a few built in effects (EQ, Reverb), but I use many other effect apps inside of Loopy Pro, and some are free or very very cheap. I'm not sure I understand your second question... But you can import and export anything on Loopy Pro.
@bestrickie29 ай бұрын
@@inbar.heyman thanks. I mean projects created with Loopy Pro, is it possible to export them into another music production program including Logic Pro to then enhance options for further creation?

Just watching your videos and All I can say is your abilities to setup loopy pro is WoW, just starting out with looping and blows my mind all the settings. I’m trying to setup my lone 6 HX Stomp Xl with a digitech serum and a Akai MPK mini MK II 25 key and it’s exhausting trying to figure out how to get everything working together with a Zoom H6 into a iPad Pro 12.9 6th generation! Not giving up but find my brain spinning at times. Thanks again for your music and videos, keep on jamming! I’m use to performing it with live bands. I’ve decided to go it alone and back to busking and want to use loopy and do it all, right , lol Cheers

Hey Inbar - I love your music and creative use of Loopy Pro. I've been following your content and tutorials. I know you use follow actions to unmute tracks before you play have you had any issues with the tracks being unmuted too late? like it only catches beat 2, 3 and 4 of the loop because it unmutes too slowly? For me this happens on internal AUV3 tracks but not audio tracks. Let me know if you've come across a solution or had this problem! Thanks a lot!
@inbar.heyman Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for the kind words and the support 🙏 Yes I know exactly what you're talking about and it has happened to me, although not consistently. My solution is to unmute the source for B loop in the follow action of the A loop's "finish recording" follow action, so it gives it a little bit more cushion. If that doesn't help, set the B loop to overdub so that you can record the "1" before moving on. Hope that made sense and that it helps. Also I wonder if certain auv3 instruments are faster to load and more reliable than others, but I haven't tested that..

Magic ! Would you mind sharing your rig setup please? and your model of ipad? I've finally got enough rubs together for an ipad pro but I want to make sure I get the right setup. It seems that like the new iphone the ipads no longer have a headphone output socket which from a music making point of view sucks. Bluetooth would probably create latency which you clearly don't have any issues with, so I'm wondering if you are using usb into the interface ? Your help would be much appreciated Cheers Gary
@inbar.heyman Жыл бұрын
Hi Gary, I have the 9th generation basic iPad. The one thing I would love to change about it is the storage because it's only 64 gb which is super limiting. The other thing is that it has lightning port which requires an extra dongle in order to connect a usb hub to it (as opposed to usb-c new ipads). But it works great. I have no experience with bluetooth so I don't know about the latency issues. But if you want to have a simple setup to make music at home I imagine there are ways to connect headphones to the new ipads. My setup with the ipad is a lightning to usb camera adapter, a usb hub, and then to that hub I connect an audio interface (make sure you get one that is CLASS COMPLIANT which means it will work with an ipad, not all interfaces do!), and I also use a midi keyboard and a midi foot controller. My interfaces are zoom u-44 and focusrite scarlett 18i8 (one is for travel and one is for home) and I recommend both, but it will depend on how many ins and outs you need. I hope that helps :)
@SONGSTICKS11 ай бұрын
@@inbar.heyman Thanks Inbar, I hear what you're saying about the lack of storage. I have an ipad air which is only 32gb and unless I have an internet connection most of my synths and effects are stuck in the cloud, which most of them are anyway, as there's not enough storage to have access to them all at once. It does have the original headphone socket which makes it easy to plug into a mixer though. If it was possible to just take it to someone and have a bigger hard drive installed... that would do me, but I don't think that's possible. So my aim is to get an ipad pro with LOADS of hard drive.. 256gb or higher. That way it will be truly portable and when I go wild camping with my pal Neil, we can make and record music anywhere. Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate you taking the time to list what you use. That gives me an idea of what I need. It would be great if there were music shops that stock ipads and all the accessories that you could walk into and just buy what you need, but they don't seem to exist 😞
@inbar.heyman11 ай бұрын
My pleasure! And that sounds like a good plan to me to go with 256 gb, sounds amazing. Totally agree with the accessory store, for now I order everything online 🤷♀️

Hello, congratulations for what you do, you manage to convey all your enthusiasm and passion! Great! I wanted to ask you for help if you can do that. Is there a way to start a clip from the beginning, the moment I select it? Regardless of where we are in the song? Similar to what you do in this video by pressing the first and third pads of the Akay MPK, at the 1.30 minute mark. I'm looking on the net but I can't find anything about it. Thanks in advance.
@inbar.heyman5 ай бұрын
Hi, thank you :) I have a few options to share- 1. What I used in this song is called "Clip Slicer", it's cutting my loop into four equal parts and I can play each part. You can watch my tutorial on it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sF6qooWKgcRla8k 2. You can make your loop "Free" under playback settings, and that way it will start from the top whenever you press play. 3. You can record into a "one shot" instead of a "loop" and then the one shot will also start from the beginning whenever you press it. I hope that helps! If you're interested I'm available for online lessons and I can help you sort all of this out 🙏
