I cannot get over how critical and petty people can be in their comments. How can we make this world a better place if we cannot be kind to and about one another! I like Jenny Bond, I love the Royal Family (with some exceptions - who shall rename nameless). People can complain all they want about the “Privy Purse” payments to the RF but they either don’t know or they may selectively forget that the RF brings in a LOT of money to the UK. I love the UK and I love the RF in equal measurements as they are unique and a huge part of the history and heritage of the UK. Please be kind and Merry Christmas. Let us work at trying to make our world better. People also need to know that the Monarchy sends out ‘special birthday and anniversary cards’ to the entire Commonwealth. My in-laws in Canada received one when they were still alive and from Queen Elizabeth.❤

It's a fallacy that the RF bring in a lot of money to the UK. If there was no RF, people would still visit the palaces etc, in fact more would visit as there would be greater access to them. France no longer has a monarchy but has much more tourism than the UK.

Prince Andrew's character and antics are well known, but to make a fuss about him going to church and spending the day with his family is going way to far. This is the season of peace and goodwill to all men, we celebrate the birth of our saviour who said he had come to save sinners, died on the cross for our sake and changed to world so much that after 2000 years we still follow his teachings. The King should remind everyone that the publicity around this year's celebration of Christmas, which is sadly over commercialized, has gone too far when his families Christmas worship and family gathering has been reduced to a bad photo op.
