No matter what happened at that time their marriage is still going strong. A marriage is whatever goes on behind closed doors and you either make a choice to work through it and get to the other side or you don't and it isn't working for you both. I've been married 30yrs and although we haven't had to deal with cheating, we have definitely gone through a breakdown in communication and feeling like we aren't really friends anymore in our younger years. Now we are strong, in love and each other's best friend. Could that change again.....of course. Life is ever changing. But we take every year as it comes and try to draw strength from what we have now even when it's tough.

If David was unfaithful, he certainly did wrong. But that is a matter between him and his wife. If you are intimate with someone, knowing they are in a relationship, you also did wrong. But it's really not as black and white as all that. The biggest issue of all imo is when someone takes a personal, private matter and makes it public. Hurting a great many more people in the process. Utterly shameful.
