Use the right click attack on megatherium in there as it hits 360 degrees around you.. Additionally, if you only wear the gas mask and no other armour, the gas mask will not take any durability loss if you are hit by the arthropluria.

Leveled my whole therizino army in that cave. - level up harvesting and it rivals for chitin. also, wear nothing else with the mask and direct hits from spit wont wear down the durability. no idea why

Super Helpful. I did this cave 1 time. I died because I only had 1 gas mask. I did it on a baryonix. I think next time I'll take an imprinted frog and have 1 or 2 Megatherium following me, probably just 1. I don't want to have to cryo that much. The frog would give you all the cementing paste you could ever need! Maybe a couple higher level gas masks. I have been playing for years, but I have never got to the Tek stuff. With your help I think I could do it now. There is so much you have to know. Really appreciate it, Thanks a lot man!!

Megatherium is best to ride since it protects you from the swarms and arthropleura acid spit Be sure to use the AOE right click attack for maximum effectiveness .

Ok to anyone who's about to do this back up gas masks are a must but they dont do you any good if you die with them on you in the cave ..... Leave one in your artifact box just in case u "think" the rooms clear get swarmed and didn't set your mega to passive so he starts running around the room like a madman while spiders are literally going through walls to get you trust me it might sound fun but after the 2nd death run your gonna have to go home and get another gas mask anyways so dont be like me leave a gas mask outside the cave

I always run this cave with frogs as the CP they collect from bugs is insane. Also they do bonus damage to the bugs. Then ride an imprinted sabertooth. I might start using megatherium now too.

I know this video is a little old but I like to use an imprinted frog for the swamp cave. Once you get it leveled a little bit its pretty safe and I can get thousands of cementing paste with a 1.0 gathering rate

@@agentsmith7947 if your just doing cementing paste just hoping in there for a bit draw them out then hop up towards the exit were you dont get poisoned. I wouldnt ty to do that cave with a frog unless it has allo of health becasue sometimes those bugs over whelm people I have done it with breeded frogs even that is a little tricky lol

Awesome cave, probably one of my favourites, I prefer the much riskier method of run in throw a cryo out and jump on a tank everything 😂 believe it or not a yuti fits through this cave no cryo needed, which is Ark logic right there

Phlinger, I cant believe you didnt transfer a few stacks of mutagel to feed the tames! DingleBerry Jr. could have been close to 400 melee before imprint. Love the series! Thank you for the consistency and "For science" section. You could have a sister series to ABC's of Ark.

I used the cave of the immune to power level my Megatherium army after losing my first army in the Alpha Broodmother fight. Right click is your friend in there and they do fit it just takes some fancy movin.

Apparently Phlinger isn't aware that the megatherium's (right click) attack is an AOE attack which is much more effective in that cave.

You can’t carry more than one of the same artifact, otters can though, they are best way to transport artifacts about

Carno Island is best place on the Island, barring this cave, when I was levelling dinos up here I had a shack outside with a fabricator and materials needed for repairs to the gas mask so I could farm the cave easily.

@@tazedavis8054 on Gen 2 if you do the parasaur round up mission & just go on a murder spree since they are lvl 250 per dino = lots of XP ..What I use when pregnant with a R-reaper.

Vanilla solo sp ark player here. I'm cutting my teeth on this cave with a lvl 70 Frog set to follow me so it hits the Meganuera with the AI aiming, 2 Rocket Launchers (Low durability) and a Riot Shield. It's grueling but a real blast. Only died once (4 times if you count the 3 body bag retrieval attempts as separate) Also, why do I never see KZbinrs using Megatherium's RMB attack? It's a 360 AoE attack, when swarmed by baddies it's practically a one button combat ender. It's so frustrating watching you backing up swiping LMB trying to kill 1 dragonfly. How ignorant do you have to be? It's like KZbinr's just play the game on auto pilot, really playing and thinking like an actual caveman. Irritating trying to come to youtube to find tips and seeing everyone's gameplay is subpar and below mine. There's this one guy that just does a Ghost admin command preview of the cave and that's perfect. He doesn't waste my time roleplaying, making feces jokes, or acting like a creepy nonce.
