Not even a question; personally I used to be on team "If you equip it" until I had several edgies drop and everyone hit need told me to get fked lol. (I wasn't trying to convince, just stated "I'll equip on the spot" ) Now if I see epics drop, before I click anything I just start yelling CLICK NEED. Asking for a reroll is super dumb; if everyone agreed you'd take the winners roll - say he had 78, see if the other two can beat it.

Context: On Deviate Delight Classic Era Fresh Reroll. We did UBRS and after Pyroseer, an epic BOE item worth a lot of gold (1000ish gold) drops. Most of the raid rolls need, 2-3 people rolled greed. Renny wins the roll (the tank). The 2-3 people who greeded wanted to reroll. I said to reroll. A different warrior rolls higher than need rolls with /roll. It is up to Renny to decide what he wants to do with the item. Technically, Renny won the roll originally, he did not ask people to reroll, I did, but he originally won the roll and gets to decide. Renny then equipped the item. This is why, imo, you always roll need on high value items to avoid these situations, specifically epic items, flask recipe, ace of beasts, etc. Winning the roll on a need roll and equipping the item later, in my opinion, is not a ninja loot.

Still laughing at the fact that they are freaking out about loot while 9 manning UBRS. Like the content in Classic is so joke mode easy, yet people still get so bent out of shape. The social stuff used to be the best part about Classic, now its just a mess where everyone is on edge about stuff that barely matters, especially in a pretend fresh server where there are people walking around with Naxx gear.

@@brimstonevalar6053 come watch some of the mythic plus videos I upload if you like drama like this! Classic is a great game by design but the players utterly ruin it. At least dragonflight has checks in place so there isnt something as basic as loot drama happening in he equivalent of what, a heroic dungeon? The ease of the content is why this is embarrassing in my eyes. But that's probably because I am more used to actual difficulty.

@@bihone4750 sure we all know that but like I said before retail lives in the shadow of Classic and it will never impact the genre like Vanilla-TBC-Wotlk did, greatness was achived by Classic yes with those eazy raids because among the core values of an mmorpg hard content is not on the list, yes I like elements of retail but retail is not a good mmorpg...is a good game but a very bad mmorpg.

Just roll need, and if someone messes up and rolls greed then shame on them. Your tank equipped the item so at the end of the day he didn't make any gold either, so no harm no foul

BoEs are BoEs for a reason. If you are in a guild the GM might decide that it's such a huge upgrade for someone that everyone greeds, but otherwise needing on it is 100000000% the way to go imo
