Gil and Lopez are the Mexican brands I've seen with the most exceeded overweight. It's actually one of their weak elements that I don't love from these.

Mann whats with these gloves being overweight i just dont get it! Theyre great but always sooo off weight nd super heavy they screw up the snap in my punches..well kind of..i mean theres a certain point where the weight becomes counterproductive in my opinion.

They have no weighing scale in Mexico or something . 20 oz gloves are RIDICULOUS . Casanova , Classics and Necali are the same . The fingertips and thumb tips need better padding too. The Mexican brands are losing the battle of the gloves as the other imports are getting much better .

There is no point of having the weight of the glove if it isn't going to be close to it.

was going to buy them but hearing that they are overweight is a turn off. I have custom 20 ounce sabas gloves that feel as heavy as 16 oz TM (torres medina) gloves i have....the TM gloves feel so big and stiff and i also dont like that style of that rough feeling inside. If you guys want a punchers gloves, search up sabas bella series gloves...they are beautiful and very comfortable...I MEAN VERY VERY comfortable and slim fitting/light weight.
