I'm in that midgame bucket you mention (account is I think 3 weeks newer than the DL account), but I just can't bring myself to hoard! I figure I'll need to do at least some shard farming (or 3 months of conquest) for anything new, so I have enough heads up to allocate resources if I need to. Currently wrapping up SEE ticket farming, then working on Gungans and then the only journeys I need to eventually circle back for are LV, new Bo, and Aphra (who is bottom of the pile for a loooong time). Feels like I'm close to being completely caught up!

Since Barriss heals, based on her max health, a defense set is suboptimal. Health set with health primaries with some good speed is more effective.

Yep, good luck, because the facts are otherwise. If you would normally take a crit for 10K and heal off that with higher health, it gives you a certain amount. If you have higher defense and less health, the heal is less, but also the crit originally hit for less. When calculated, it doesn't matter if the numbers are bigger on the heal, what matters is how many hits it takes to kill your characters, and unequivocally defense sets improve your durability more than health sets. Not my opinion, facts and math that have been proven over and over by the community. :-)

@@darthloquitur1913 you say “when calculated” but haven’t done calculations. I would love to see comparisons of a full defense set vs full health set on Barriss, for healing on a critical hit on her team. Also, how much does the defense ACTUALLY save per attack and how much that character WOULD have healed with a full health/full defense set.

@@darthloquitur1913 I didn‘t say, Defense sucks. I said, in this case, Barriss needs health. Her Mastery boosts Health and her relic multiplier as well. Armor being tied to physical damage makes her defense one sided. Health will cover true damage and special damage. Crit damage isn‘t the only thing to consider this days. There is a place for defense, just nit here. Only trying to help here. Since your Rey has defense mods, why should I even care, stay on your high horse and ignore the variety of modding possibilities.
