Awww, man. Expeditions had been my favourite mode actually, so I really hope it returns soon. I am pretty bad at hand-reading, so the mode where you don't really need to constantly gauge the chance that a meta-defining three-of card is in your opponent's hand or not has been a good alternative to normal play. Also a chance to use champions who would otherwise see no play. Yes, even Katarina.

Also, i'd like to point out a couple of interesting facts here: Candy crush makes more money than most games out there. Candy crush. Lol gets a lot of changes almost every other week, not counting major updates every new year, and people still keep asking riot for new modes, pve, pvp with fun twists. When riot makes Urf available, the number of people playing the game increases substantially. And also, LoR is fucking 2 years old. The game just started, and we had over 500 thousand dolars invested on the competitive scene last year. So, chill a little, and wait to see where the game is going to go. Just because they are trying to make the game more appealing to a broader audience, does not mean they are going to abandon fucking pvp content.

I wish that instead of expedition there was a regular PVP mode but you can choose powers from path of champions. For example: You have 4 slots for powers, common power takes 1 slot, rare power takes 2 slots, epic powers take 3 slots.

It would also be cool I think if certain card picks also came with attached items or you gained some type of currency to buy them, basically what path of champions does but in pvp, it would kind of take away the beginner friendly aspects of the mode as it makes it harder to learn what the cards do without additional effects but i think it would make the mode more fun in general

I would personally prefer them to have anout equalish with the pve to pvp content. I know I play more pve but I do want there to be a good pvp scene. I feel like strong and engaging pvp is what help creates longevity for a card game. Since they will no longer be doing a seasonal broadcast, but still pressumably doing a seasonal tournament. Does that mean that a 3rd party could in theory do a broadcast of it by having players be voulenteer to stream their games as part of it? Or just to have their games observed

I'm one of those people that enjoyed Path of Champions most of all, yet I'm ironically torn on them focusing so much on the playmode. I really like that they're actually making it into a genuine story mode, that's exactly what it should be and more customization and ability to forge your own path in the game is just plain amazing. On the other end, I'm actually content with Path of Champions for the most part, and would've liked something to be done with the other game modes. Here I specifically talk about Expiditions and Unranked. For Expiditions I think they're well aware that it needs to be a better and more comprehensive drafting experience, I understand why they prioritize Path of Champions over this overhaul for many reasons, but I also hope that it wont be too far off in the future that we see it happen. Although I don't mind waiting for a better experience. For Unranked (and to a degree Ranked although Ranked is just the way it is) could benefit from the ability of players being able to meet one another and communicate.

Honestly I like the idea of neutral champs with special deck building but I think it will end up terrible for a single reason and that's balance they already have trouble balancing the game and keeping old cards relevant if they had new ways to build decks it means more things to take into account while balancing a card and since they are already not so great at it it will end up being pure chaos . I think you might have a point there. Because of how LoR pre nerfs scalable concepts but lets simple cards be really strong Jihn has access to some extremely strong low cost cards (crackshot, saboteur, sentry) and some memey high cost cards (sww, minah, bloodletter). I bet it will allow for some stupid aggro shit despite how Jihn seems like a more midrange card and other runeterra champs will have the same problem.

For me, it was only logical, think about it: whats the most popular a huge guy scream and laughing while playing his braum deck or the pro player who won the worlds? It's not even a surprise that a lot of players play PVE, in there you don't get swarmed by a bunch of vermins and rodents. Swarmed by poros(Karma boss fight) and birds (Stage 3 elite in Zed run) sure but at least you get a chance to actually play cards and not lose when somehow a card manifest a Bandle tree landmark in a 5-15 HP lead going in your favor.

It's not exactly like that. With Jihn, you can pick any card with a Skill, but you don't *have to* take all your cards with skills. He's basically his own region, and you still have a second one to work with.

El género de los CCGs es un género muy cerrado, le cuesta mucho ganar jugadores y en general es más pequeño. Magic y YuGiOh han estado en el género desde sus inicios, por lo que sus juegos digitales tienen un público prácticamente asegurado. Hearthstone fue el juego que basicamente creó el género de los CCGs digitales, no siendo el primero pero sí el que llamó la atención de todos, con el bombazo que pegó en sus primeros años se ganó muchos jugadores que inició en el mundo de los CCGs. LoR llega tarde, tanto al género donde ya están asentados MTG y YGO como al medio que dominó Hearthstone, y aunque su economía es una maravilla, y por lo que he escuchado el estado del metajuego ha sido generalmente de lo mejor del género, esencialmente los jugadores que gana se los tiene que quitar a MTG y HS, juegos que además debido a su alto coste tienen ese coste hundido que hace a los jugadores no querer salir. Una pena, pero es lo que hay :(

This is a very divisive update. While I don’t particularly care for single player it does worry me that they’ll do the same thing with most of their games. However, you still can pick a second region for your deck and take any cards from it, how they picked Yasuo in the video. So Bundle Tree is valid. Not sure it'll be effective though; With Dual-Region cards, Bundle already has cards from all regions and Jhin isn't really needed.

I think seasonals would be way more exciting if they find a way to make it face to face to have that tension and drama between players 🤔 like how the fighting game community tournaments get more hype when there's drama and tension to punch the other guy in the face Maybe have a stage with both players playing on a tablet or pc facing each other This could also give people with personality to shine and showboat on stage
