I bought the Reed Seed cassette tape and album when I was in college. I still have it today. I have played most of the songs from the album on my saxophone 🎷. Very smooth song.

Loran's Dance *is* my desert island song and "Power of Soul" would be my desert island LP. Absolutely the best of CTI/Kudu. RIP, Grover. He signed an autograph for me at a masterclass in 1973 in Seattle. Peace and Power. I'll never forget that day. As a kid - just transformative.

I play this tune with my band here in Worthing UK where we also worship his lordships of Grover and Idris etc , so I appreciate what you guys did here. Great performances all around.

I like the Bass player's reference to The World is a Ghetto!

Im not gonna lie, I was not ready for the heavy metal that the bass player just laid down. You guys did a wonderful job expressing the freedom that this song is all about. Bravo

Thats Gerald Veasley, hes got mad 16th note bebop skills. Im pretty sure he was in Grover's band in the later 80s. He played with Joe Zawinul from weather report and did countless other jazz/r&b gigs over the years. no way to guess how many recordings he made it on as a studio guy either, probably in the hundreds.
