Don't know if you only want naked eye differences, but the easiest way to tell the fake cards is on the back with a jewelers loupe. If you look at the borders on the back of the card with magnification, on the real cards the pixels look like a multi-colored nerd rope. On the fake cards, it is all the same gold colored pixels.

Tbh, anyone getting caught selling fake cards should be imprisoned and fined and there store should be shut down for fraud. Period.

might be worth having a magnified example on screen when you're inspecting some of the symbols. The lore symbols present a lot of problems in those fakes and providing some close up examples will help aid your presentation. Great video and awesome job doing this for the community. Just know you're not alone in your efforts to help.

there Qc is so bad you cant really tell if theyre fakes or just a bad print run. ive had wild things consitantly come out of packs ive opened

Hey there. I agree QC is bad. That being said, the cards i show here as fake came straight from China. I bought them for this video and they are advertised as proxy. No question at all that they are fake. The real problem is there are people trying to pass these as real, so that is the goal of the video, to make people aware of what to look out for. Thanks!

The vast majority of proxies are now either cropped or darker but the artist symbol is always closed, always check that

I'm not sure about the weight. I have def opened cards where the stock felt noticeably lighter

Hey! Weight has been a difference in all the counterfeit cards i have seen. The difference is always very similar. Did you weight yours to be sure?

Hey there, they came from China and are advertised as proxy. But if you are buying from ebay do be careful as there are people trying to pass the as legitimate cards 🫤

I would like to see some fake cards to compare. Where do you get them? I am having a hard time seeing some of the differences on the camera. My LGS got some First Chapter from opening packs from Amazon returns. The cards look legit as the owner pulled them directly from packs. Collation was legit with the right commons and uncommons.
