Such a great show about Limited! We did our first Draft of Lorcana at Decks and Dice Tournament Center last Friday. Cris pulled our first Maleficent Dragon and Jess pulled 2 Kuzcos!

So far in constructed, I feel like I'm always lagging behind, chasing the meta but not getting there fast enough before it shifts. Either I'm too slow with strategy comprehension, or too slow with acquisition of physical cards. I'm really intrigued by limited and hope to experiment with this when I get my first Floodborn booster box. I've yet to see any stores run limited locally, but hopefully that will change as the product availability issues are resolved. This episode was great - I'm definitely going to rewatch it to try and solidify some of the tips in my mind.

I feel like I'm in the same situation, compounded by the fact that outside of Lorcana I have ZERO - TCG experience.

Would limiting your card pool to cards from one specific movie "Franchise" be considered limited? I have seen ideas calling it Director's Cut as well. The idea one I have talked about with friends is No Ink limit, 60 cards but you could only use cards associated with for example "Frozen" which would include all 3 of those movies plus any additional that could come out. With using a Floodborn card as your "Lead" character - kind of from the mold of Commander from what I have been told about Magic. Same for " Aladdin" which would include any cards from the sequels "Return of Jafar" "The King of Thieves".

I think this is an excellent format idea. I suppose it would be a limited format. Let us know if you have a franchise that works well or that you enjoy, let us know!
