Made me sad to see Emerald Steel win, especially after seeing it at locals so much. Now I'll see it more. Especially since Emerald is getting better support in Set 6. Might be best to look to other games for a while for me.

​@@Illumiteers I'd hope so... but unlikely. Especially with Basil - Disguised Detective coming out. I've never played E/S personally, but there will be some easy wins with: T1: Diablo T2: Shift Diablo, Sing wDiablo, Drop Morph T3: Do whatever is optimal. T4: Shift into Basil T5: Ink, force discard, sing a discard, discard some more, watch your opponent be sad. Draw all the cards. We'll see though. I honestly regret preordering a couple of boxes of Set 6, as I don't really want to support Ravensburg or put money into the pool for championships. Not that my contributions matter, but I just hate seeing discard have all the tools and no down sides. Not sure why they wanted to build a toxic meta as the premiere way to play.
