I played this unmodified deck for a first run on a league night yesterday. I agree on the removals you suggested since I kept inking most of those cards...only thing I can't understand from your mod here is that I totally loved playing HeiHei...it was really good at attacking and coming back from the dead 😅. Casita as well gave me a couple of lore but I agree it felt it played more like a late stage card and not a game changer ... I'll try to get the cards you suggest and follow your recommendation. Not very sure I fully understand how to play the 4 Bruno cards you mention though.... I think I would need a list of my card names to name one in the heat of gaming lol and also not sure on how to play the broom 🧹 cards as well

Nice video, exactly the type that I as novice Lorcana player need! However, do not mask the card descriptions with prices since at least I do not know all of them by heart.

Damn, its a total opposite of what i had with saph/steel. I was focused more on the bodyguards to take the hit while having Anna do the job of lore hunting. Problem was that it was too weak to challenge and by the time i have a board ready, my opponent is already close to winning. Im going to try this out. Been waiting for a deck update since it came out!

Does Thebes plus teka seem good? challenging to get four lore seems really good

Gaining four lore can be great! However, you must keep Thebes alive, play Te Ka turn 6 and wait til turn 7 to move him to the location and challenge. It’s just a lot to pull off. Thanks for watching!

So for the steel/ sapphire one, the advice is basically just dont buy it... since you'd be replacing almost all the cards anyway. Disappointing.

It is possible to make some other iterations with this starter deck that focus mostly on heroes. Working around Aladdin and the new shift Aladdin, the auroras and Aurora dreaming guardian, Mickey Mouse detective, Anna braving the storm and Anna true hearted, Philoctetes and Hercules with adding other Hercules in as well. You still will probably be removing 30-40 cards going this route, but as far as this iteration, Alex was trying to make it competitive as possible. Thanks for watching!
