@TheLiberalKnight Hard time reforming the Commons. They won't be moved. I'd say we used to have the best political system in the world when there was a legit balance of power but it seems the Prime Minister is becoming more and more like a President. Mind you; if they're content to shift most of their own powers over to Brussels then they are making both houses pretty much redundant in the long run.

@TheLiberalKnight Oh I understood you from the start. The Commons does have - and should have supremacy. The Lords aren't the ones that make the laws. It's their job to scrutinize the government with their experience and without the political agenda that the MP's all have. In order to do this they ought to remain independent from the Commons' system. At present, the Lords are opposing the unpopular Common's NHS bill. Which is their purpose. I doubt a Cameron style Lords would the same.

House of Lords should stay as it is. A very good house to scrutinize the government without political influence. They check and balance the government. The prime minister should be the one to be controlled. Too much power has been given to PM.
