The reason I’m way more chill in WT than say, TF2 is because in WT, I don’t feel like my performance impacts the game, whether I’m first or last. With luck-based wins (ground strike targets getting blown up with no one around for example) and teammates being teammates, it doesn’t make me wanna win, despite winning litterally giving more rewards. Contrast that to Team Fortress 2, where EVERY little bit matters when deciding who wins, and I get quite sweaty when it comes to winning, and as a medic main, I am on the front row of seeing every little mistakes teammates make. And since everyone’s pooled up together regardless of skill… yeah, it happens often.

I most often only consistently win when playing ground vehicles in GRB, whilst planes can kill many enemies, it's capping that lets you win a match. addendum: I only really win with planes when playing in a squad, where at least one other player is in a ground vehicle, regardless of nation (I'm a British/French main, with both basically all played and/or spaded, but I have a couple hundred hours in German and italian trees, where that's still the case.)

Reminds me of US air teams, honestly. So many games of watching an entire team with bombs on their fighters at treetop level die within one minute as they try to turnfight zeros or head-on do335's, then being last alive with the enemy team converging on me. Kind of stuff that makes me think they need to disable ground pounding armaments on fighters in air RB until the player has landed during the match to rearm.

​@@pavels266It just takes practice. Sometimes you need to free look, other times you need to use the mouse to look while controlling the plane with the keyboard. Keep an eye on your alt and you should be fine. I've been doing it for years and even I crash sometimes when in a dog fight.

Once you've mastered the camera control and can keep track of your target, you can start positioning your camera to give you a better idea of what's happening around your fight as well. Unless you have a massive mousepad though you might wanna increase your sensitivity lol. It's how smigol flies half the time, you can see it in all of his videos for an example.

That's why I care little for place in the scoreboard when I play Germany anymore. I do what I feel is necessary even when it's usually something really damned stupid and relying on there NOT being an enemy tank running around that I cant hear because the sound is glitched. I'd rather go for a cap than a kill if it means I don't lose the match (though if the enemy is a tough target I'll take care of them first)

There are two types of Germany tank main - those that are pure anti-son-of-a-bitch machines and those that are legally blind (and deaf and stupid too). That makes Germany incredibly frustrating to play because you'll lose 90% of the time, but also incredibly frustrating to fight against because sod's law states the guy you're shooting at is one of those good Germany players.

My totally not subjective scientific research about why German players are the worst teammate: At a lot of BR, especially around 5.3, Germans line-ups are among, if no the best line-up from all nations. They have machines that are above average in term of firepower and armour, the only thing lacking being mobility. That leads to them needing way less effort to make kills in comparison to other nation, even USSR and USA, and to make it even more easier and lazier, will camp in the same spot for the whole game. Why would they need to move? They make kills and for them, it’s all that matter For other nation, this means the total opposite: A win is often easy against Germany, as rarely will they play the objective. However, if you do not want to suffer and have a good game, then good luck. I have quit that BR despite it being my favourite due to overuse of camping, even if my win rate is decent To resolve the problem: Higher the BR of Tigers, Panthers and other Tier III-IV German tanks. They will be forced to face an actual challenge instead of playing brain dead, and I won’t suffer against overperforming tanks Thanks for coming to my TED talk

@@smigoltime They don't act because they only wait to get kills that don't exist anyomore because you already annihilated the enemy team. It might have been more effective to kill one or two players and stay in a medium/light tank and capping the points yourself. You can't blame someone for not doing something that you are not doing yourself, right? I don't defend their bad gameplay, but many players seem to prefer getting kills over cap points. Much easier and safer than actually driving out of cover and risking getting your ass blasted by the enemy team.
