Somehow, I joined a Facebook group about learning ASL tonight. (I've always wanted to learn.) Someone suggested finding a song on KZbin and learning it. I never thought of that before! I LOOOVE this song! I'm so excited! Thank you so much! I'm an online Spanish teacher, and you taught this song so well! Thank you so much for your videos! I've been following them for a couple of years. I have slight spacial processing difficulties due to possibly being on the autism spectrum, and choreography has always been a challenge for me. However, with your videos I am able to practice over and over again the position of my hands in relation to my body, and by practicing these signs again and again, they become a part of my muscle memory. I even find myself signing during worship at church almost subconsciously, and I love to teach hand motions to children, many of which I adapt from signs. When the signs have become a part of my longer-term memory, I find them becoming a part of how I viscerally process that word and its meaning within space, and it helps me experience within my physical body the significance of each concept in a way that written or spoken words cannot convey. I believe signing can also be a way of partnering with the Lord to bring wholeness and healing to our heart and mind, because of how the brain and the rest of our nervous system are intricately connected as we move our body within space. Thank you for your work!

This is amazing! Since I went to Liberty University over 30 years ago and since I saw sign used in Kenya, I have longed to learn this skill. I will be using this to teach my third grade class for an Easter production. Thanks so much for using your skills and talent!

I used part 1 of "Lord, I lift Your name on high" to teach myself the signs and then taught them to our children's Sunday school. We are working on part 2 to get up to speed. We are participating in the services later this month where the kids will share this song with the congregation. I want to know if we could have part 2 playing on the screen for the kids reassurance and for the congregation to participate if they desire. It would also be streamed. If not we will have our pianist play. Thank you.
