Part 1: goo.gl/YG9xpe
-----------------------
In this clip, Lord Jamar discussed the passing of Joe Jackson. For Lord Jamar, the seemingly quiet affair of the Jackson patriarch comes as no surprise because he accuses the media of blackballing Joe due to him being a strong black father. Lord Jamar and Vlad go back-and-forth about the Jackson legacy and how Joe was the architect of their success despite the sour relationship he had with his kids, Michael in particular.

Seems like jamar wants to keep Michael in hell. jamar supports his ego with a delusion based on a trick. Shouldn't a Lord have the power to empower an individual? His bashing is less important than a trip to a gas giant.

Mike had vitiligo and he got surgery for his skin. He wore wigs on his head after that Pepsi commercial. But what I think what Mike did was capitalize off his skin lightning do to his skin disease as a black man. He never denied his Blackness. FACTS 💯!! Why you think the media bashed him as a black man he owned half of Sony, publishing, and a Elvis catalog. You can say what you want but Mike was a brilliant business man.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Rebbie Jackson was one of the few members of the family that WANTED a normal life outside of show business. She married the man that she loved (despite her father's protest; and refusal to even walk her down the aisle), never got a divorce, had a few kids but sadly her husband passed away a few years ago. True, her life may not have been filled with the same level of money and fame as some of her more famous siblings...but at least she had a stable home and loving marriage/family outside of The Jacksons. That sounds as good as a Grammy in my book when compared to the ups-and-downs of show business (leading to addictions, stress, etc.) that some of her other siblings had to deal with.

@Go Joe It has nothing to do with white privilege. It has to do with people making bold claims about a man's racial integrity when there's crystal clear evidence in the form of the man's own autopsy among other things that he wasn't lying about having a disease. There are pictures of him with vitiligo patches on his skin in the late 80s. His makeup artist Karen Faye *confirmed* he had it and talked in depth about that for a time she'd have to cover his face with dark makeup until the white patches become too prevalent. There doesn't have to be any deeper meaning. You don't know anything about his medical history aside from what the autopsy, ie an extremely in depth report of his entire body taken when he was at his most vulnerable, tells you. Come nonsensically talk to me about my privilege *after* you've properly informed yourself on the topic. I certainly wish someone would.

@Go Joe Biracial kids don't need to be a perfect mixture of black and white. Look at Quincy Jones' daughter. Jackson's nephew has a daughter that bares the same light skin tone as his cousins. And even if he did adopt them, or used a sperm donor, why does anyone care? A black man can adopt white kids and not hate his race. That's a pretty bold conclusion to come to when you have 0 context.

"Michael hated his blackness." - He has stated countless times he is a black american and PROUD to be. This is a man that has donated more to the NAACP and to Africa more than any other celebrity. Has even talked about forms of black dancing have been stolen by whites in the past. "He straightened his hair" - Prince, Snoop, and other black males with long hair have done it before. Black women do it all the time and sometimes even dye it blonde. But crickets on their "blackness" "he had a white wife and white kids". - Plenty of interracial marriages here in the US. Marry who you love, not who society assigns you to. Michael dropped "Remember the time" and "they dont care about us" the same time he was with Lisa Marie Presley.

If you're poor then you shouldn't be having multiple children. Get your life right first. It wasn't the children's responsibility to provide. That is the job of the parents. Period! On top of the fact that they were NOT "whipped in to shape" but ABUSED to be what their FATHER wanted them to be. Instead of being children and exploring what they wanted to be on their own. Doctor, police officer, lawyer, veterinarian or firefighter. Michael Jackson always related to children because his childhood was stolen by his father for his selfish reasons. It's actually a very sad story. All the money and things Michael Jackson had to feel alone and unsafe. Watch his different interviews and documentaries where he explained how often times he and his kids had birthday parties without other people invited... or like he felt "trapped". I feel like Joe had good intentions, but he got carried away with wanting his kids to be successful, so he basically robbed them of having a normal childhood, without realizing the emotional trauma he's giving them. This attitude isn't too uncommon in the black community.
@skillet9141
@skillet9141 2 ай бұрын
This makes a lot more sense. It seems that he obviously wanted better for his family but he was too harsh about it. Sure his kids came out successful in the end, especially with Michael and Janet. But, trauma was given in return, ESPECIALLY with Michael. Not to mention him having a daughter outside the marriage. The guy created good and bad. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Michael definitely didn't like his own blackness. He didn't have Vitiligo because Vitiligo occurs in spotty patches, not in entire body sections. The first year, his face was white, but his hands were black. The next, he's entirely white? Vitiligo doesn't look like that; he lied. Even Quincy Jones knew and was against him using chemical peels. Also, what made him get a nose job the first time? If he liked the first one, why'd he change it? Why did all the Jacksons change 'em?

I wonder what he would say now after this scene that supposedly happened between Janet Jackson and Bobby Brown. Janet said her father didn't want her to date or bring home no black man. Self hate, especially in the black community is a passed down thing from older members in our families from a VERY young age. Mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles l, grandparents, have said and done thing to influence the children they are around. Aince chattle slavery Black people have endured names like, black gal, tar baby roach, African booty scratcher, the paper bag test, even popular saying like if you're, black get back. Although they became rich, the Jacksons were not and are not exempt from the effects of how MANY blacks felt about themselves during racial discrimination in our country. The entire family has suffered just in different ways. I'm not saying Michael didn't or couldn't have been affected but he was not more affected than his own father who clearly had a problem with darker skin. And what about the black men who currently will only date a black woman IF she's on the fair skin side with European features but label it as "preference" negating that preference can and often do stem from OLD self hate characteristics that has been passed down throughout the generations? It's only self hate if you change your skin color but never when you dodge procreating with someone who looks like you? Got it! SN: Vitiligo is a thing.

Sat next to a pathologist on the plane once, I asked him how vitiligo would be determined on someone like MJ who was almost completely white. He said there is no way to determine other than visual and being that he bleached his whole body the pathologist who worked on him went along with his medical records, they weren't gonna sit there and try to uncover why a black man turned white, the priority is cause of death. The biggest evidence that MJ didn't have vitiligo and was whitening his skin is his own family, particularly Jermaine who openly criticized it in the beginning. Once on an interview 80s, on his book and he even made a song. You'd think his family would know he had some a problem. It's too embarrassing for the family so they went along with Michael's lie. Some of his fans like to use pictures where sweat, lighting and make-up is created lighter spots to prove it, others literally photoshop white spots on him but there is no video or photo evidence of MJ vitiligo. Lets face it MJ was a Europhile, he was obsessed with Peter Pan, hung out with white boys, adopted white kids. Of course, anytime he got in trouble he revert back to pro-black talk that way black ppl would have his back. But where was all that pro black shit all those years when everything was on the up and up?

Karl Tanner If that's the case, why did he stop wearing dark make up and start lightening his skin to match the patches? Maybe he did want to be white.

My grandma has vitilligo too. It starts out as white spots that grow into patches and eventually all her melanin was gone. She went from brown skinned to whiter than the palest Caucasian. Shit crazy

I think Lord Jamar is basing his opinion off of what others and the media have said about Michael and not what was directly said out of Michael’s mouth and in his art. In an interview Michael did with Oprah, which is the most viewed televised interview ever with 90 million viewers (almost as many people who watch the Super Bowl) Michael set the record straight about loving his blackness and being offended if a white person played him in a movie. Anybody trying to neglect their blackness would not get up on a HUGE platform and preach about how much they love their blackness and criticize people who would think to use white actors to play him. Then also if you look at his art in almost every one of his videos ( Thriller, The Way You Make Me Feel, Remember the Time, Keep it in the Closet, Rock my World) He has a black woman as his love interest, which showed the diversity in black beauty in women. Then he has videos like Bad, They Don’t Really Care About Us, Black or White etc. that talked about black issues. In that Remember the Time video, Michael put together an all black cast to portray Egyptians the right way since Hollywood would always like to portray Egyptians as white when they were in fact black. Then in the Black or White Video there was a scene that was banned because it was too pro-Black (you can find it on KZbin) where Michael addresses the KKK and usage of the N-word. That scene was banned at the time because the world was not ready for that yet and it was too “pro-Black”. Keep in mind Michael was being pro-Black in his art when it wasn’t trendy. So when I watched this interview I thought it was some bullshit because you can literally look at Michael’s art and watch his interviews and see this man did not hate his blackness. That’s why I take what Lord Jamar is saying with a grain of salt because the words directly out of Michael’s mouth and the messages Michael put in his art are more representative to who Michael was a person compared to what Lord Jamar( who doesn’t know MJ) has to say.

Hebrew Kang nope that's you. You're talking about the melanin that gives you pigment. Lol you lack that as well. There are different types of melanin caucasoid, but you wouldn't know anything about that with that HIGH IQ and all. You know you built the pyramids right, but can't figure out how to make children to sustain your dying race(species) or figure out how NOT to burn in the sun. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Good riddance cavling!

The moral to the story is.....We are not the same. So called blacks are ORGANIC NATURAL CARBON BEINGS. Yeah, our pigmentation is important, but it's more than that. It has always been about genetics and spirituality this whole time. Actually pales love our color not only does it protect us from uv radiation, but to them it look exotic. We really need to continue to wake up and realize who we are. If you're not an ORGANIC natural being you will be destroyed by fire. Even organic beings will be destroyed if they don't WAKE up and realize who they are and use their powers. You don't have to believe me JUST WATCH!

ok So maybe he had vitiliago? But Explain the cleft chin, the straight hair, and the nose surgery, and the White wife and the White kids but I'm supposed to believe he loved being BLACK?

The straight hair was wigs that he had to wear because he suffered 3rd degree burns to his scalp and was no longer able to grow his own hair, the cleft chin? So what? The white wife? Why is that any of your business? He dated black women too, the song black or white should tell you enough that he loved all races and the white children? How so? Did you do a DNA test on them? One of his kids has vitiligo like him and the youngest one is his twin. Read a book on genetics you may learn a lot. The nose surgery was because he broke it the first time and had to have it fixed then a second time so that he could breath better. Hope this comment explains it

Cleft chin equals wanting to be white now? He did his nose because he didn't like having a big nose, simple, doesn't mean he hated his nose for "looking black". Also plenty of black artists wear straight hair, doesn't equal wanting to be white. He even went back to curly hair in 2009. And his one child is biological, the other 2 were a sort of gift from his friend Debbie Rowe, she wanted to give him children. MJ was proud to be black. Please watch this video if you still doubt it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaixpXywZtWra7s

Michael did try to cover the light part of his body but when his body was like 70% white it was so hard on him and he needed a LONG time to put it on and when he preformed the makeup would be off so it was easier for him and his makeup artist (Karen Faye) to switch the plan and the was in 1986 after like 9 years of suffering of vitiligo

Living with Michael Jackson documentary featuring the British reporter. Michael explains his childhood and what he experienced from his brothers and father's during his puberty stage. Which explains his inner hatred. The same with Janet, Bobby explains her mentality in his book, that will also be featured in his new BET epic film.
