In an era where regulating speech is not enough rather regulating thought is the ultimate goal, Dave Chappelle is a defibrillator to the heart of freedom. If you CHOOSE to watch Sticks and Stones expect to laugh at others but be prepared to laugh at yourself too. His jokes are intricate, layered, well thought out, and subvert expectations. Great comedy heals by making a mockery of terrible things and this is exactly what Dave does in Sticks and Stones.

And shout-out to Netflix for having the balls to actually release it. Comedy is comedy, it's not meant to be taken 100% serious. If you look at everything he say's literally, you're going to have a bad time. Enjoy it for what it is, enjoy the genius, the edginess, etc. Suicide is also more prevalent among white people than other races for sure. I don't know if overall population has any bearing on that number, but I do think what Jamar says may have a bearing on it. I don't necessarily think white people go "Wait a minute, I'm white why is this happening" but the overall privilege that white people have may play a part. It could also be something w/ white people's DNA in general, who really knows. Regardless, you have to develop some sort of mental illness to get to that point.

Sticks and Stones was dope but it wasn't his best. It's only better than the Austin Netflix Hour imo

I Think that all of the Netflix specials were amazing. In fact I think that the whole series set you up for this. He got more provocative with each one. Like Jab, Jab, Jab, Jab, Hook.
