Lord Jamar took a look back at Craig Mack's career following the rapper's untimely death earlier this month, and Jamar spoke about meeting the "Flava in Ya Ear" rapper.
The Brand Nubian rapper recalled Craig being full of life and taking over the room anytime he would enter, and Lord Jamar added that despite his retirement from rap, Craig Mack would always be known for his classic track. 14 Shots was a disappointment (L even admitted in interviews that he did that album too soon). Pink Cookies is known for the Mo Bee remix. But that Flavor In Your remix prepped L to put out a better LP: Mr. Smith.

Rip Capo I see what you’re saying; I’m from Cali and def remember the hyphy movement; we all know the Yay is known for innovating slang, BUT, in this case I’ll point out that Jamar uses old school NY slang “Nahmean?” but he says “Yanahdamean?” Basically he just says “you know what I mean?”. I bet Jamar doesn’t know a single Mac Dre song, but I agree it’s close. Now if he started talked about being dipped in butter, Vallejo, and Thizz I’d have to wonder.
