I remember my sisters and I renting this game as kids. I was pretty young, but I have very vivid memories of the stealth segment. We gave up on it pretty quick. Jerma's description of a kid playing the game was exactly how my sisters and I reacted to that part. It's kind of surreal seeing what else was in the game after that part.

I remember being determined, but unable to beat the first level of this game (for a while anyway) as a kid. It terrified me, and I wasn’t aware you could save it where Jerma saved it. I did eventually beat it, then proceeded through the rest of the game. I’m pretty sure it’s not that great of a game, but I have fond memories of it, lol

I remember getting this game when I was little and playing through this whole opening segment in awe. I loved every clunky second, feeling a sense of wonder as I explored the Shire and did sidequests. It was genuinely wonderful to play! THEN FUCKING THEN THE WRINGWRAITHS SHOWED UP THE LEVEL WAS LITERALLY SO DARK YOU COULDN'T SEE THEM COMING Could never fucking get past it.

The reason you don't die when your phone drops in the bathtub is because it has very low power usage compared to other things A phone uses 3 Watts whereas a toaster uses 1500 Watts both a phone and a toaster produce current, but a toaster produces current magnitudes greater than a phone

I actually beat the game when I was a kid. The hardest parts that I can remember were Bree, Moria as Frodo, and overcoming my own fear of large enemies so I could come out of hiding to fight the Trolls. Was one of the first games I ever actually finished on my own, from beginning to end.
