I've rewatched this video like hundred times, and I always just thought it was about a guy looking at his past, present and future and that's cool...but I only just now noticed the blood filled bathtub isn't just a cool visual to look "more metal" I think it's supposed to be that he's trying to kill himself in that tub. Right before he dies he sees his childhood and his present...and then he sees what his future could be and he gets out of the tub realizing he doesn't want to die. That's awesome. I know you guys are probably gonna be like "No shit thats obvious" but idk I just got that now haha. I'm so used to music videos not really meaning anything that actual art caught me off guard I guess.

Wonderful interpretation...all of his songs tell a story, but we are used to not thinking, just taking it in, not listening, just hearing. When you open your mind, the discoveries are endless. Peace..

Myself, I feel its more about Humanity as a whole, him playing the part of Humanity solely himself, I'm not 100% sure of the significance of the blood but its probably something to do with all derived from and decedents of the one bloodline, a primordial ooze if you will. That was the recipe of correct elements and biological components to begin life on Earth and then on to evolution that brought us into being as we are today. Having been through the whole process and enjoying the ups and downs of the ride from go to the undesired woah and or woe. As he sings "We're floating as a memory in time space and tether. Time travelers in the sky may we drift for ever." He mentions building a glowing Sun and then the Earth and solar system. "To fill the void with more than nothingness." Then he goes on to sing "In silence we dance with the Devil, in silence we're in this together." If you notice the woman that appears that he watches as they circle each other has goat horns upon her head. The Devil no doubt, why female one may ask? Well that's up to you to decide least I spark a gender war here. But the DEVIL has LIVED and man is as a Husband, a band being a collar around ones neck is a GROOM. Groomed for what one may again ask? To be ridden as a beast of burden and carry the weight of the World. By his BRIDE who B RIDE him. She is upon her high horse. Women or WOE-MAN? Riders of the Apocalypse even? But hay as I said that's just what I personally read into and make of it. With a bit tagged on extending where the song leaves off. Music like Poetry, Writing or Painting ect.. is an art form. All art is persieved and seen in a different way and light through a different pair of eyes. So that's my take anyway. Take it or leave it. Diversity is what makes us unique. Via diversity we'll see the light of divinity, our vision is not darkness via division. SN+EIGHT = THE SIGN = SEIGHTN = S8N = SATEN = SATAN. Can you SAY-TIN? What's the symbol for TIN on the periodic table of elements? The devils in the detail. DE-TAIL!!! INITAILS = TAIL IS IN. Tin Man from Oz was given a Heart. HE ART HEART AT HER EARTH.

Well... it´s not that obvious. Did you notice, by the way, he sees all the universe and the cosmic life in his attempt to kill himself? Ask yourself: Who is she? The "Woman" who was there, waiting his approachment? A goddess? A cosmic figure? The mother of the Universe? Interesting, don´t you think?

yeah its a refreshing song to the entirety of consciousness itself! It even grabs at philosophy as our birth, "eventually our molecules formed a stone"... Philosophers stone reference! It goes pretty deep in thought, but humanities consciousness is only building up to a big revelation and this is only a fragment of that event coming! To those that see it culminating and can see deeper than this, Cheers from the abyss in our long orbit around the sheep...

this is my all time favourite song of yours and the story you're depicting here is simply magnificent. Watching a lifetime flash before his eyes in a final vulnerable moment: We're floating in our memory Through time and space untethered Time travellers in disguise May we trip forever The innocence of childhood, the curiosity or mystery from the woman, the fear from the older man, all the while being sent into the forest between each encounter where past and present and future all collide, beginning and end. wonderfully deep and multilayered and packs such a punch for a 4:30min video
