I have struggled with depression also. I found that I was able to recognize the first steps down that dangerous road and in those cases I found something else to focus on, something more upbeat. I don't know if it will work for you, but if you focus on HOW you think, recognize the first steps along the dangerous path and step away, it may help you. An excellent way to step away from that path is to listen to songs like this masterpiece. Best wishes. :)

This song arrived in a moment of my life, when a Breaking Point was crossed due to a health condition (not much can be done in regards of it). I went to LOTL's concert in Mexico City to sing my lungs out -a few days after doctors confirmed the diagnosis-. I screamed and cried out when they sang "One Last Song". "One Last Song" was always the video I've been looking forward to the most from "Blood & Glitter", because I knew our guys would offer us the most emotional and heartwarming experience in their entire discography - and I wasn't wrong to expect an ocean of tears, millions of things to contemplate on and countless references to personal milestones from the past. In actual fact, my expectations were exceeded by far!✨️🫶👏👏🫶✨️ Even as an audio track, "One Last Song" is the epitome of a composition to die for, I've always stated that it is one of the core anthems of my life and means more than the entire world. However, if you look into the eyes of the bandmembers, how they create eye contact to the viewer and literally speak to his/her soul, and if you look at the small details that make the video the masterpiece it is, the entire voyage becomes even MORE monumental and life-changing! The Roxette poster, the old vinyl record, the cello, Chris playing acoustic guitar as he used to do so often when he started to create music, the video being recorded at places that are inherently connected to the band - and the list goes on and on and on, and all the love LOTL put into this video just proves once again that these guys deserve all the love they're getting from us, and even more! If someone would ask me to explain why LOTL are my beloved favourite band, I would just take "One Last Song" and all this thrilling imagery, and I would say: If you can resist this video without travelling to distant places in your mind and without shedding tears, your heart has turned to stone. Emotive perfection, and nothing else.🖤✨️💔

Mir standen Tränen in den Augen, das passiert mir bei Musikvideos (oder Musik im allgemeinen) eigentlich nie. Hut ab vor dieser Leistung - einerseits ein wundervoller und gleichzeitig sehr nachdenklich machender Text, andererseits das Video mit seiner nachdrücklichen Botschaft und von der Musik ganz zu schweigen. Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, dass ich keinen leichten Start mit Lord of the Lost hatte. Zum ersten mal live gesehen als Vorgruppe von Blutengel, ich meine 2016, damals mir völlig unbekannt. Dann als Vorgruppe vor Maiden in Prag und war enttäuscht. Damals dachte ich das mit mir und Lord of the Lost wird nichts mehr. Und dieses Jahr stand ich wieder bei Iron Maiden, dieses mal in Dublin, in der ersten Reihe und Chris hatte mich ab der ersten Sekunde. Ihr habt abgeliefert und nun 5 Monate später höre ich alles, insbesondere diesen Song rauf und runter
