Fun fact Lord of the Ring was supposed to be 4 part movie. Hobbit was originally not a trilogy it was a first part of lotr series. Due to some budget issue hobbit was cancelled then. After few of lotr trilogy, hobbit was released in the form of trilogy or a prequel.
