I consider myself a very lucky person. In fact, I consider everyone who had the opportunity to go to the cinema in December in 2001, 2002, and 2003 to witness this masterpiece extremely fortunate. I remember it being an event, theaters filled, and, most importantly, complete silence during the screenings. Everyone was there for the movies, for the thrill of following that story year after year. I vividly recall that feeling, knowing that it would happen again in next December, until the last part. And now, 20 years after "The Return of the King," I am a different person. I have a little daughter now, and I'm counting the years until she's old enough for us to watch them together. I can't wait to revisit the films with her (curiously, I haven't rewatched them since seeing them in the cinema). Oh, if I can pass to her even a small fraction of what that feeling was like... That's why I say, for everyone here who had the chance to see these films in theaters, at the end of those years, oh... you are very lucky! If something in life bothers you, remember, "I saw The Lord of the Rings in theaters! Year after year!"

I dont normally comment nice things and to be honest i didnt consider myself a nice person, ive hated life and everyone in it for as long as i can remember until right now. The only thing that brought me solice was lord of the rings because its what me and my dad would listen to, hes been gone years now and i havent even watched the movies in 4 years. I just did a hobbit and lord of the rings marathon and for the first time in years and i felt like my dad was here with me all because of a lofi mix on KZbin that i took a chance on listening too. And like life itself, its all about taking chances and risks, and so i say to whomever reads this, life does get better just try your best and always remember, " all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." Gandalf the grey".

The scene shows three friends, all of which we know would die for one another, enjoying a moment, that to them, would hardly seem like a moment to take notice of at all. We all long for the simplicity and ease of mind that this scene encapsulates. There are many lofi scenes that I would like to enter, but this one, is the one I'd like to get lost in.

If you all are ever looking for more good lo-fi, Jon Hopkins' album "Opalescent" from 2001 is basically the god father of lo fi before it was really called "lo fi". Every time I hear the more chill sentimental lo fi like this vid it makes me think of it, one of my faves. The album never really got attention due to 9/11 happening a few months after it's release.

Holy damn, I feel like crying. Reminded me of times when I watched LotR1 for the first time, on a pirated CD, on a PC with a small monitor, every family member had their own chair, the video was scuffed somehow, the colors were orange-y (like some Mexico filter) and I would wonder what is Rohan or Gondor, and what will even happen to Frodo and Sam, who stood at the ridge of some hill, showcasing Mordor in the distance... And then we had a blast creating our own .srt files with some jokes and parody dialogues, and watched it with that. God fucking damn I miss those times so much. And that music encapsulated all of that^ Great remixes.

Not too sure if you'll see it, but RDR2 has some beautiful ambient music and to hear it in lofj would be awesome, seeing Arthur around the campfire and the stars above as he eats some stew. The crackling of the fire and the sound of the woods outdoors or the prairie, along with the thematic instruments that play to set the atmosphere. It would be awesome! I understand you are super busy, but it would be awesome to hear the ambience of RDR2 converted to lofi. Thank you for this wonderful mix, you'll have many more subs to come!

What would be really awesome is if an animation was made in this sprite style. One that starts of with Frodo and Sam walking on a path leaving the Shire. Perhaps from a frontal view. Then after a while, maybe make it transition to a slightly distant side-scrolling view which shows the environment. Then along the way, gradually add and subtract the next set of characters as they enter and progress through the story, and change the environment appropriately as they progress. Slowly switching between a front and side view of them walking, and perhaps occasionally turning their head. And if possible, get the appropriate tracks to align with the settings of the animation. Play the Shire track when they're in the Shire environment, and play the Rohan track when they're in a Rohan environment. It would be a lot of work, but it would be awesome. Going from the beginning of the journey, all the way to the end. I'd also perhaps throw some Easter eggs from the book in the background environment as they progress.

just a piece of feedback - this is SO great, but it is helpful as a listener if the pictures are different for each mix. Obviously ignore me if that is insanely hard, and I do like how you changed the color scheme here, but my add brain is simple and having different pictures (even just like 15% different) would be good. That said, your mixes are the background for my workouts and calm my brain as I work 70hrs per week trying to make helly sales and barely can handle my life.
