When I was in high school back around when Oblivion came out, It was a very rough time in my life... Lost my mother and got kicked out of school and sent away to one of those 'schools' in Utah... While I was there the only thing that kept me sane was playing the Oblivion music in my head for the 364 days I was in that place. We couldnt have electronics or even look at a TV, so this music in my head was everything. It is still an amazing source of comfort to me all these years later. Thanks for this mix. I love it.

Good to here you're better now. Time and trials heal all. I was drinking heavily , probably a couple liters of hard liquor every week, dieing inside. Then this game came out and I know it sounds ridiculous but gave it gave my life meaning again. I didn't have much to live for and was contemplating suicide. Computer games are so good for the psyche or something. Kept me from losing my mental capacity.

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion is probably my favorite video game of all time. Of the hundreds of games i've played, it brings back the best memories. The feeling of stepping out into the sunlight and starting a seemingly endless adventure across one of the most beautifully crafted worlds ever made in gaming is something i'll always cherish and remember. Thank you for this ❤

@@RisingOctopus Is it better than Skyrim?
@mythicdawn95745 ай бұрын
@@VedosPL Depends. Graphics aged poorly for the most part, combat too (feels like your hitting sponges). But the writing is much, much better than Skyrim. Main quest is not stellar but good. The fact that you are not the hero of a prophecy makes it much better if you are into roleplaying (you are not forced to be Dragonborn, you are a hero by your own rights). Guild quests are the best part of this game, it forces you to travel all across the map and they make you feel like you are earning your ranks, unlike Skyrim's, lol. Dark Brotherhood in this game is peak. Many side quests are clever and funny in their writing too. Best thing that could describe Oblivion's world is that it's borderline a mental asylum lol. In fact, the Shivering Isles DLC (best DLC Bethesda ever made) is literally the Realm of Madness, and quests there get unhinged xD. The only bad aspect of the writing is not the writing itself, but the voice acting. Too many times the same voices, and very often not very good deliveries. But most Oblivion fans like them (I like them too
