I have been feeling extremely bad these days, I have said goodbye to someone who really appreciated. I have realized how empty my life feels now, I don't like how I live, it is depressing, today I feel so bad that I haven't even been able to get up to eat, I try to distract myself and it helps me, but in the end I'm still pretty sad and will be for a while. I was very depressed today, but at least this song has made me remember memories of a happy life, when I loved my family without a doubt, when I felt excited about the world, when I felt that there was less pain, less suffering This video makes me believe that finding that life once again can be possible

“And there was Frodo pale and worn, and yet himself again; and in his eyes there was peace now, neither strain of will, nor madness, nor any fear. His burden was taken away. There was the dear master of the sweet days in the Shire. ‘Master!’ cried Sam. And fell upon his knees. In all that ruin of the world for the moment he felt only joy, great joy. His master had been saved; he was himself again, and he was free.“

Omg, i remember the firts time i read The Hobbit My Mum had it on the shelf, and my room was totally not filled with the whole series of Eragon by Cristopher Paoloni, Wings of Fire by Tui Sutherland, Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter, etc. But i picked it up at an op-shop and read "An Adventure There And Back" and immediately asked my mum if i could have it. I finished it in an hour. I stole the whole series from my mum and its now one of my favourite series. Thank you for createing this, it brings me a lot of nostalgia. Love you all, and have a good day/night ❤❤❤

As happy as I am that you found your way to Middle Earth, I must call BS on reading The Hobbit in an hour. It’s a 300 page book. That means reading five pages a minute, or 2500 words per minute (give or take). That is pretty darn fast. Even hard core fast readers seldom go over 750 wpm.

As someone who loves Tolkien's writings, the brilliant film trilogy and Howard Shore's sublime musical score, it's lovely to see this video. The music and the cosiness of a Hobbit house at Bag End in the Shire with the crackling fireplace gives the scene a lovely warm ambience.

Hobbits have been living and farming in the four farthings of the Shire for many hundreds of years, quite content to ignore and be ignored by the world of the Big Folk. Middle-Earth being, after all, full of strange creatures beyond count, hobbits must seem of little importance, being neither renowned as great warriors nor counted among the very wise. In fact, it has been remarked by some that hobbits' only real passion is for food. A rather unfair observation as we have also developed a keen interest in the brewing of ales and the smoking of pipe weed. But where our hearts truly lie is in peace, and quiet, and good tilled earth. For all hobbits share a love of thing that grow. And yes, no doubt to others our ways seem quaint. But today of all days, it is brought home to me: it is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life. And so life in the Shire goes on very much as it has this past Age. Full of its own comings and goings, with change coming slowly, if it comes at all. For things are made to endure in the Shire, passing from one generation to the next. There's always been a Baggins living here, under the hill, in Bag End. And there always will be.

Pardon me hobbit, those pieces of firewood? I need 10 of them. I'm sorry, I need it, and I will take it. In return I will give you 80 times the weight in wood as just sticks gathered from the forest. And these 7 fish and 8 potatoes. Yes, that's it, those flat ones, good size, very close in shape to boards. Good trade.
