Beautiful book, I like other Cubical 7 stuff and Fria Ligan (Swedish). Could be really nice :) The low magic and longer rest settings does sound great!

that was a good review. The strider rules work with lord of the rings as I use it myself, the only change I made was the one ring solo allows extra points so I compensated by making my solo character 2nd level but I have subscribed and look forward to seeing your take on it.

Thank you for the comments. I was looking into this and considering starting with a higher level character too. Possibly level 3. Will think on it a little more.

Nice overview. I'm really curious about how LOTR translates in terms of magic, a little surprised there are no goblins or dragons in the bestiary, but overall it looks intriguing.

I actually prefer this version to TOR 2e because our preferred system is Castles & Crusades and it's much easier to convert over from 5e. The Council and Journey rules are hot garbage, but we just ignore those. The point is gaming in Middle Earth, not slavishly reproducing the books.
