You can attach 2 Valor boon cards in two player, that's why they included an if able clause. Also, its effect is a response and responses are always optional so you could have attached it to Gimli and just not used it if you didn't want the heal (although having it on Aragorn is good too).

I love this game and I love that you're still making videos for it! I have one note for the Klingon subtitles: at 43:08, you mention that no characters are committed to the quest because the quest phase is over. But the quest phase isn't actually over yet, because there's a step of the quest phase that comes after placing progress on the quest so you're still in it, and questing characters are considered to be questing until the end of the quest phase even after placing progress on the quest. Not that it would have mattered because you could have put the damage on Beravor and been fine. Also a minor note: at around 40:34, you played Mendor's Support before staging, but there is an action window after staging so you could have saved your Mendor's Support to see if you needed it. It didn't matter this time but it could matter in other situations!

Hi, first of all great video and great channel. Correct me if I'm wrong but i think u are making a mistake. You use Denethor in the action window during the REFRESH PHASE (phase 7) but that window is after you ready your heroes and allies, so if you want to use denethor ability and ready him for next round you should use him in the previous action window which is immeadiatly after dealing the shadow cards. Thanks buddy

hi again, actually as i was watching the video, i saw another mistake. minute 37.30 you use EVER VIGILANT but that doesn't match an action window which is (during the attack phase) only after you deal shadow cards, once the attack begins you don't have anymore action windows to coorrectly use events, am i right?

Actually you do! After the shadow card is revealed you have an soon window whoot!! That way you can respond to them!

So there is also ac action window after attacking so I could use it then instead of at refresh. I just used at refresh as I was forgetting while recording haha! But they're is an action window after attacking. Does not need to be just after a shadow card is revealed

FYI, you were still in the quest phase when you drew those 4 cards when you advanced to stage 3 as you advance immediately to the next stage during the quest phase. Characters are also considered committed to the quest for the entirety of the quest phase (after committing), so you would have to deal 2 damage to one of the characters committed. That would kill Eowyn or Mendor but I think Beravor could have survived or you could have killed Gleowine.

Indeed. The "quest phase" is active even after willpower is totalled and allocated and, if a new quest card is started, isn't formally over until the travel phase begins. So technically 2 damage should've been dealt.

Im still watching the video and I've had no idea that I could pay steward of gonder without paying it with resources by exausting the steward of gondor card. Another doubt: Is it possible to win this scenario only using one deck? I've tried many times and I've failed all time.

Not exactly sure what you mean? you have to pay the 2 resources for the card, it just will then generate 2 resources each round! It is the strongest card in the game! Thanks for watching!

At 10:15 you were explaining the math to calculate the damage. You said "4 + 5 is 9 so the damage is 3". I don't have any clue why you said it like that. The Hill Troll has an attack of 7 and Gimli's defense is 4. Even though the math worked out to 3 damage shouldn't you have said "7 - 4 is 3 damage"? I am a new player and this was very confusing.

Dude 4 is the defense that I boosted with the protector and 5 is the health value of Gimli. That's why I said 4 plus 5

you can't play the forest snare on the Hill Troll as an interrupt.. you can only play the Forrest Snare during the planning phase of the game... which means you would of had to taken that attack from the Hill Troll every turn... its a rule most people get wrong...
