From what I remember the Ents and the Entwives went separate ways, because the men were only focused on planting forests all over the land, while the women were focused on the beauty of things, Treebeard mentions that seeing areas full of flowers could be signs that an Entwife has been through there.

The ents are not really trees. They share some traits like only being able to drink but their skin just looks like tree bark. Reading the books I always thought they were similar to the trols, since the trols were created as a distorted replica of them. They should have lungs and the rest.

Of the 3 movies the best ones IMHO are the first and the last one but book wise the Battle of Minas Tirith is in the Two Towers (2nd book) only it was shown in the Return of the King (3rd movie) for some reason. Though Christopher Lee (Saruman's actor) passed away a few years ago he was the ONLY actor that was old enough to have actually met JRR Tolkien the Lord of the Rings creator while HE was still alive Tolkien passed away in 1977 but Christopher Lee was 93 years old when he passed away in 2015.

"What do your elf eyes see" is because Elves in that universe. See the world as a flat thing before the shaping of what it it is. This is why they are the only ones who can navigate back to the elven home lands because only they can see the way. So asking this Aragorn knows Legolas can see exactly where they are from their current position.
