My grandfather was a royal artisan. Worked in the palace during the reign of King Rama VI. The King gave my family a title to use as a surname. My grandfather had the royal title Luang Deplaksanaleka. In ancient times, royal titles were used according to the type of work position. At present, my family uses this royal title as a surname. "Deplaksanaleka". When my grandfather asked to leave government service after the King passed away and the reign changed. So my grandfather resigned because he did not want to serve many kings. When they come out, then come and make Khon masks.
