Drac, clips do not use a feeding mechanism to move rounds/darts through a gun/blaster, they are moved by a mechanism in the gun. Magazines are fed using a system completely contained in the magazine, which feeds the next round into the chamber. Nerf magazines are not clips.

AM34 looks to be a top notch CAD designer. Color-wise, the only sections that should be altered are the factory white parts, which look fine as is, even if they aren't "bespoke" enough to stand out.

Just know that you have my jealousy. =p The Desolator is my only flywheel blaster so I may well have to pick this kit up. It looks super sweet. As for color scheme, all the black and orange on the white with the glowing orange bits makes me think you could do something "nuclear winter" themed.

Thats a pretty wicked looking Desolator, even without the monster head. I wanna steal it lol (Obviously i wont. But it does look really cool) If you ever do another Desolator and repaint it, i might suggest going with blue and either black or white detailing. You could keep the stock black parts. I know its pretty N-strike-y, but i always thought blue and orange were a good contrast

Depends on the weather and gameplay. Flywheels are better in some cases and springers in others (a sidearm Stryfe with a Buzz Bee 8-mag in a pistol round)
